The one-day Rhino Tour Uganda starts early in the morning after your breakfast at the hotel in Kampala and then set off on a journey for a 3 -4 hours drive in a 4×4 safari Van/Land Cruiser on Kampala-Luwero –Nakasongola route. You will then, branch off from Nakitoma about 7 km to get to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary early enough for a rhino tracking experience with a skilled tour guide.
Rhino trekking experience offers a remarkable encounter with rhinos which mark up the full list of the big five African game. The tracking tour involves a shoebill trek, Bird watching and guided nature walk thus allowing one to sightsee also other mammal species and birdlife.
During the rhino trekking experience, expect to enjoy the sight of other species like antelopes, Uganda kobs, Bushbuck, Reed bucks, birds, and primates like Colobus and Vervet monkeys and Mongoose. The one hour of face-to-face with rhinos, capture their pictures, learn their behaviors, and return from your footwalk experience.
