Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
On day 1 of the 10 Days Kids Friendly Family Holiday Kenya, upon arrival at Nairobi /airport, you will be met by the company representative. After a short briefing, you will drive to your city hotel. Then, depending on your arrival time, can spend the day resting at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi Full Day – visit the elephant orphanage
After breakfast, leave your city hotel early morning at around 8:30 Am. Then, embark on the elephant orphanage where you will have a close encounter with baby elephants.
Depart the orphanage in time for lunch and be taken for lunch at the galleria mall. After lunch, head to the Giraffe Centre where you will have another close view of the giraffes. Return in the late afternoon to your city hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha
You will leave Nairobi after breakfast and drive to Hells Gate National Park in Naivasha. Along the way, you will have to drive straight to Hell’s Gate where you will have a guided walking safari. There is an option of riding a bicycle in the park which is ideal for the children.
Later, you will check in at the hotel and have lunch. After lunch, you can spend the entire afternoon relaxing in the hotel by the lakeside or have boat rides at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, head to Lake Nakuru National Park where you will engage in game drives on arrival. Arrive around midday, check in at your lodge and have lunch.
After lunch and a short rest, you will continue with game drives. Return back to the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight.
Note: Lake Nakuru National Park is home to a birding paradise, with more than 500 bird species recorded. It is also home to over 50 mammal species, and plant species. The park is famous for the flocks of greater and lesser flamingos. Other avifauna together with a variety of water birds; Yellow-billed pelicans, Marabou storks, Hammerkops, and Fish Eagles.

Day 5: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Maasai Mara. You will arrive and go have an en-route game drive as you proceed to the lodge where you will check in and have lunch.
After lunch and a short rest, you will have an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner. After enjoying your dinner, relax around a fireplace being entertained with Maasai songs or drive to your room.
Maasai Mara National Reserve is a famous reserve due to its large population of wildlife. It is also one of the few places where all of the Big Five mammals are found.
The reserve hosts 500 bird species and rare animals such as roan antelopes and nocturnal bat-eared foxes. You will also watch the beautiful lilac-breasted roller which is Kenya’s national bird. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full Day Explore in Maasai Mara
On this day, you will go for the morning game drive, after your delicious breakfast. You will head deep into the wild in search of its thrills and spills. A balloon safari can be arranged for this day. Engage in the evening game drive also rewarding in terms of wildlife and riveting scenery where you expect to immense huge number of the Big five, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, impalas and wildebeests. It is a birding eye view such as Kingfisher, hornbill, Secretary Bird and Kori Bustard among others.
You will enjoy your delicious packed lunch under the signature acacia tree. Afterwards, proceed with the afternoon game drive till evening. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 to 9: Diani Beach
Today, you will spend it at leisure in the lodge with the option of engaging in water sports and activities at your own cost.

Day 10: Diani to Nairobi
