Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park – on-foot Rhino tracking and top of the falls visit
On day 1 of the 11 Days Best of Uganda Wildlife Safari, depending on your point of location in Entebbe, you will be picked up our safari driver representative who will brief you about safari and then transfer to Murchison falls national park, en route Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary 3 hours’ drive from Kampala for Rhino trekking experience at the rhino sanctuary, have a briefing, embark for a 1 to 2-hour rhino tracking experience. After tracking, meet your driver and continue to Murchison falls national park. Upon arrival, you will drive to visit the top of the falls where you will observe the remarkable waterfall and later drive to your booked lodge to rest. Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise – Murchison Falls NP
Wake up have early morning breakfast and then go for a morning game drive where you may adventure various animal species such as elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, oribi, warthogs many others. Return and have lunch then at 2pm, you will head for a launch cruise at the bottom of the Murchison Falls along River Nile, enjoy streaming views of hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as wide number of different species getting down to drink & bathe. Dinner and overnight at lodge as the above.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest national park (6-7 hours’ drive)
Have early morning breakfast, followed by check-out of the lodge to head on your journey to Kibale forest national park which takes a 6-7 hours’ drive with lunch en-route in Fort Portal and overlooking of the rolling hills, tea plantations and crater lakes. Upon arrival, check-in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge for mid-range, Chimpundu Lodge – Luxury.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
After breakfast, connect to the park headquarter where you will be briefed from , before going ahead with chimpanzee trekking. Enter the rain-forest to start looking for the chimpanzees. Trekking takes 2-5 hours to find the chimpanzees. On finding them, you will spend an hour with the chimpanzees while taking pictures. You may also encounter animals like the forest elephants among others, also including different birds’ species.
After tracking, return to the lodge for lunch. Later, go for an interesting nature walk in Bigodi swamp where you will be able to view different bird species, primates, plant species, beautiful butterflies, enjoy the cool breeze, relax your mind many more. After the swamp walk, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
On the fifth day of the 11 days Uganda safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to travel to Queen Elizabeth national park. Along the way, expect to enjoy spectacular views of the landscape, crater lakes, tea plantations many others and on arrival you will have lunch and relaxation. Later you will go for an evening game drive where you will be able to explore animals like elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks, view different bird species many others. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant hab Lodge for mid-range, Elephant Plain – Luxury Lodge

Day 6: Morning game drive/ optional lion tracking and afternoon boat cruise
On day 6 of the 11 Days Best of Uganda Wildlife Safari, after breakfast, embark for an early morning game drive in Kasenyi area of Queen Elizabeth national park where you will adventure wide number of wildlife including African elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, warthogs among others and a lot of bird species and a good day the leopards and lions. After the game drive, drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Later afternoon, connect for a boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get a chance to see numerous bird species, elephants and buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles. The Kazinga channel is known to have the large school of hippos. Retreat from the boat trip in the afternoon and check in your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Have relaxed tasty breakfast, then after head on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park via Ishasha sector which is a home for the rare tree climbing lions, do another game drive with a great opportunity to watch the unique tree-climbing lions if you are lucky and then connect to Bwindi national park, check into the lodge for dinner and overnight at Buhoma Haven lodge for mid-range, Buhoma Lodge – Luxury

Day 8: Gorilla trekking experience
Wake up early, have breakfast and then connect to the starting point with your packed food and water. The briefing from the park warden about the gorillas starts at 7am where your will be guided on highlights of gorilla trekking rules. The hike can take anything from 2-7 hours. Once you find the gorillas, you are allowed to spend an hour with them as you stand 7 meters away. Return to your lodge. Or choose to visit Batwa cultural tour where you will learn about the Batwa and their culture. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to head to Lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest lake in Uganda and the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika. Lake Bunyonyi is lies in Kabale and the journey takes about 4 hours’ drive. Arrive at the park and check into the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an impressive boat cruise where you will be able to explore over 29 islands, view some bird species, animals, enjoy spectacular views of the terraced farmlands, beautiful scenery many others. After the boat cruise, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi rock resort-midrange.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park-afternoon boat cruise
Have an early breakfast, then check out of the lodge and meet up with your guide to drive you to Lake Mburo national park. You will pass via Kabale town, Ntungamo town and upon arrival you will check into the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo which gives you an opportunity to view animals such as buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes drinking water along the shores of the lake, hippos and crocodiles in water and water birds like cormorants, kingfishers, fish eagles among others. The boat ride takes about 2 hours and after you will drive back to the lodge, have dinner and overnight stay at Kigarama wilderness lodge-midrange

Day 11: Morning game drive and departure to Entebbe
On the last day of the safari, you will have an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your guide to go for a game drive adventure in the park. During the game drive expect to spot various wildlife species including zebras, warthogs, giant forest hogs, waterbucks, impala, giraffes among others along the road and after the game drive you will drive out of the park and start the journey to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe where you will have en-route lunch, take photos, buy craft items and then continue with the journey to Kampala. You will arrive early evening and your driver guide will drop you off at any place of convenience or drop you at Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight.
