Detailed Itinerary
Day1: Pick up and Go on the Nairobi City Tour
On your first day of the 11 Days Kenya and Tanzania Holiday Safari, you will be picked up from the hotel after breakfast and proceed to the National Museum of Kenya in Nairobi. You will explore Kenya’s history and culture through tour exhibits on Kenyan art, the Kenyan War for Independence, and prehistory. You will also visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust at 11 am to interact with orphaned elephants and enjoy their feeding and bathing routines.
At 12 pm, you will connect to the Giraffe Centre and get up close to Rothschild’s giraffes – what a rewarding experience is!
Have lunch at 1 pm. You can choose between the Carnivore Restaurant or Mamba Village for a delicious meal.
You will visit the bomas of Kenya at 2:30 pm and experience the vast culture of Kenya through beautiful traditional housing, arts, and crafts, and captivating dance performances.
After a city tour which may end at 5 pm, your driver guide will drop you off at the hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi and Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
You will leave Nairobi after breakfast and start the long drive south to the Maasai Mara. You will have a stopover to enjoy a spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at the park in time for lunch at your lodge. Then after, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive through the magical park.
Proceed to the home of all the Big Five, the Maasai Mara National Reserve also plays host to the wildebeest migration each year and makes a rewarding backdrop for your first day of safari. Arrive at the park, and check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara
On day 3 of the 11 Days Kenya and Tanzania Holiday Safari, you will drive into the park to watch as the sun sets fire to the savannah and the big cats take advantage in this morning hours to search for a meal before they return to their hideout.
Optional, you can choose to participate in a hot air balloon safari that will see you soar above all of the action before landing down on the plains for a champagne breakfast among the wildlife. Ask your safari expert about adding a hot–air balloon adventure to your safari bucket list.
Thereafter, return to your lodge for a late breakfast before packing a picnic lunch and driving back into the park for a day-long exploration of the Maasai Mara. Day 4: Maasai Mara and Transfer to Serengeti National Park
You will make your way to the Mara Airstrip after breakfast for your flight into Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Arrive in the park, you will be met by your new Shadows of Africa driver and head out for an afternoon game drive in this famous park.
Serengeti National Park is home to a wide population of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope, the picturesque Serengeti is a perfect place to adventure predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs as well as herbivores like elephants, hippos, and giraffes. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full-Day Tour Exploration – Serengeti National Park
Wake up and enjoy your yummy breakfast as you prepare for an unforgettable sunrise game drive. You will get excited at how sunsets fire to the savannahs as you head in search of big cats on the hunt for their morning meal. If you visit at the right time of the great migration event – you will enjoy the movements of the famous wildebeest migration.
Driving through Kopjes will be able to see lions sun themselves, and enjoy some of the world’s most incredible wildlife against the open plains and big sky of Tanzania’s crown jewel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
On this day, you will have one last full day in the Serengeti to spend as you wish. Our driver-guide drives you back through the Serengeti via different routes, offering plenty of chances to adventure the animals you might have missed on the previous day. Interestingly, you will be able to spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests, zebra migrating, tall and graceful giraffes, galloping antelopes and gazelles, powerful African elephants and another group of animals, and also predators.
Expect to have chances of spotting rare animals like cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the kings of the jungle ‘’lion’’. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Leave Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You will have aroma coffee /tea served with tasty donuts at the lodge, then drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Our drive takes us back through the famous Serengeti via a different route, thus offering many opportunities to adventure the animals. You will also have chances to spot cheetahs, shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and lions.
Upon arrival, check into the lodge which sits on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater which marks the eighth wonder of the world. You visit this glimpse for the first time and experience the verdant caldera from the spectacular viewpoint, you will soon understand why it has earned such a lofty reputation.
It is known as home to more than 120 animal species including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area acts as one of the most sought-after safari destinations in the world.

Day 9: Ngorongoro and travel to Lake Manyara Arusha
After morning breakfast, make your way to Lake Manyara National Park which is a 2-hour drive waking your appetite for your day of exploration.
Lake Manyara Park stands as a perfect photographer’s playground and offers some of the best game viewing in the world. During your game drive safari here, expect to see plenty of African most well-known animals, including the tree-climbing lions which like to lounge in acacia trees, practically begging to be photographed.
Bird watchers will find Lake Manyara a great highlight, with numerous bird species. You will also expect to be amazed by large flamingo flocks circling birds of prey, and the brightly – colored lilac –breasted roller.

Day 10: Arusha and Amboseli National Park
Have breakfast and start your trip back to Kenya. You will once go through immigration and meet with your new driver before driving to the park.

You will enjoy an afternoon game drive where you expect to view herds of wildebeests, zebras, lions, skulking hyenas, a number of antelopes, and some of Kenya’s largest herds of elephants which to be viewed against the startling backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Day 11: Amboseli National Park/ Depart to Nairobi
On your last day of 11 Days Tanzania and Kenya Holiday Safari. You will wake up early morning to go watch Kilimanjaro at dawn. What interests me most having a chance to see the tallest mountain on the continent.
After, make your way back to Nairobi where you will be driven to the airport or your hotel.
