Detailed Itinerary
Day 1. Airport Pick up, Transfer to Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
On day 1 of the 12 Days Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Bwindi Gorilla Safari, upon arrival at the Nairobi Airport, our Kenya safari guide shall pick you up and offer a short briefing – as you drive along the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve Kenya. Once in the park, go for a game drive in the park after a picnic lunch. Enjoy wild game viewing as you drive back to your camp of stay. Check-in at the camp, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Sentrim Mara Camp.

Day 2. Game Drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve
On the 2nd day of the 12 Days Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Bwindi Gorilla Safari, wake up to a morning game drive in the Maasai Mara after breakfast at the lodge and get to explore various wild games in the park, including the big 5 mammals. You will watch out for various birds in Maasai Mara plain, as well as the scenic landscape of the park. Enjoy your lunch in the jungle, and then drive out for yet another game drive in the Maasai Mara. Return back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 3. Transfer to Serengeti National Park
On the 3rd day of the 12 Days Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Bwindi Gorilla Safari, wake up early breakfast and check out from the camp early in the morning, and be driven out of the reserve to the border of Isebania. You will clear from the border customs office then after your guide in Tanzania will transfer you to Serengeti National Park. You will have an en-route game drive in Maasai Mara Plains. Dinner and overnight at Tukaone Serengeti Camp.

Day 4. Full day in Serengeti National Park
After your breakfast early at your lodge, your driver guide will take you on a morning game viewing experience around the larger savannah plains of Serengeti National Park to search for the vast wildlife species such as the big five and also wildebeests, hippos, elands, impalas, kudu, waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, giraffes and predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs among others.
You will have a break to enjoy a picnic lunch and later engage in the afternoon game drive in the national park to search for other wildlife species and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 5. Drive to Ngorongoro crater area, Crater Drive
After an early breakfast followed by check out of the lodge then embark for another game viewing experience at the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will have lunch before proceeding to descend to the Ngorongoro crater (the world’s largest inactive caldera) to experience a wildlife viewing adventure.
You will look for a vast of wildlife species in the crater such as wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and elephants. You will also see predators such as lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and others. You will also visit Lake Magadi where you expect to see hippos, hippos as well as other various bird species. After this experience, you will return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Hhando Coffee Lodge

Day 6: Drive to Arusha, Fly to Zanzibar
Have breakfast at the lodge, and drive to Arusha Airport arriving in time for your flight to Zanzibar. You will be welcomed by our guide at the airport. Check into the hotel, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay at Zanzibar Beach Resort.

Day 7&8: Zanzibar Beach Stay
On this day, you shall spend the day at the beach. Relax, enjoy sunbathe, stroll in the fine white sand beach, or simply lounge at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel above.

Day 9: Flight to Entebbe (Own Booking)
After your relaxed breakfast, your driver guide will drive you from your hotel in Zanzibar arriving in time for your flight to Entebbe International Airport. Upon your arrival in Entebbe, you shall be welcomed by our driver guide and be driven to your hotel of stay. Check in, and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Best Western Hotel.

Day 10: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Drive Time: Approx. 8 hours. Flight Option Available
After breakfast at the hotel, head out to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park famous for inhabiting the endangered mountain gorillas. Enjoy lunch en route. Connect to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge

Day 11: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Have breakfast and transfer you to park headquarters for a briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The trekking experience usually lasts between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating and unforgettable experiences. You will have a chance to watch and take pictures at very close range. You will watch adults feeding and groaning among themselves.
After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to drive you back to the lodge. Depending on the time you return from the trekking activity, you may opt to do a community tour – visit the Batwa Pygmies the original people of this forest. Have dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 12: Departure
Drive Time: Approx. 8 hours. Flight Option Available
On the last day of your safari, you will enjoy breakfast and check out of your lodge as you prepare for your drive to Entebbe with lunch en route and your guide will drop you off at the airport in time for your flight back to Nairobi where you will connect to your departure flight back home. This brings your 12 Days Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Bwindi Gorilla Safari to an end.
