Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up in Nairobi and then transfer to Nairobi
Depending on your point of location in Nairobi, our Kenya driver guide will pick you up on time agreed, and take you in a short briefing about the safaris. Then you shall embark on your journey to Masaai Mara. Arrive at a home where you will experience the vast wildlife experience, relax, and have lunch at your convenience.
Later, after lunch go for an afternoon game drive where you will be able huge number of animals that call Masai Mara their habitant. Return to the lodge, late in the evening. Have dinner and overnight.
Day2: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
You will have an early delicious breakfast served at the lodge. After you will go for a full-day game drive with your packed lunch boxes which you will enjoy with perfect sights of wild animals in the park. On this day, you will perfectly enjoy what a truly unattached wilderness of MasaiMari. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Fly to Uganda
After an early morning breakfast, check out of your accommodation. Then, your driver guide drives you to the airstrip to catch up your flight to Uganda with a stop at Kisumu for immigration clearance. Arrive in Uganda Entebbe International Airport ‘’EBB’’ in the morning hours, go through the checks and you will be welcomed by our guide to drive you to the hotel in Kampala. Enjoy lunch and after head to Kampala for a mini–city tour. After you will rest to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After morning breakfast, check out of your accommodation. You will then head to western Uganda, a drive which takes about 5 to 6 hours to Kibale National Park. Arrive in Fort portal town in the early afternoon, where you will get have lunch. After lunch, go visit the Amabere caves. After the tour, you will then head to Kibale National Park, arriving in about 30 minutes, check into your accommodation, freshen up. Dinner and overnights.
Day 6: Uganda Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
You will enjoy an early breakfast at your accommodation and then head to the park’s headquarters for a briefing about Uganda chimpanzee trekking rules. You will then head out to the forest trails accompanied by a guide to find the chimpanzees. Therefore, there are chances to spot other species found in the Kibale forest. When you find them, you will be allowed one hour with the chimpanzees, and the experience will take about 4 to 5 hours. After your trekking, you will then drive back to the lodge for lunch and rest.
In the evening, you can opt to do a guided nature walk in the park to visit the craters. Have dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will check out of your lodge after having breakfast, then head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a home to a large population of wildlife; over 96 mammals and truly bird stopping site. Arrive, check into your booked lodge, have lunch.
After lunch, head out to impressive Kazinga Channel for a memorable boat cruise that will take you down the water channel and offers you an opportunity to watch variety of water birds and animals. After the boat cruise, drive back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up very early at 6am, then head out for a morning game drive in the park to watch the park’s range of wildlife such as the unique tree climbing lions, antelopes, hyenas, leopards among others. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Uganda Gorilla Trekking
Wake up have breakfast and be driven to the park’s meeting Centre for Gorilla trekking rules by 7 am. You will learn more about the trek and then be assigned to a gorilla family in the group of eight ‘8’ by the park ranger. You will be led by the park ranger and the experience will take up to 7 hours with one hour spent with the mountain gorilla individuals; after your trekking experience, you will head back to your accommodation to freshen up, have a late lunch and then rest for the entire evening.
You can opt to do community walk around the park where you will be to see the different cultures of the people that live around the park ‘’Batwa’’. Dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up early have breakfast at your lodge/hotel and after check out. Then, drive further south to Lake Bunyonyi where you will arrive in the Mid-morning. You will check into your accommodation and then take a guided nature walk near the lake areas.
After the nature walks, you will have lunch and after lunch, you will go canoeing on the lake to explore over 29 islands in the lake as you watch the notable birds. After enjoying the canoe experience, you will head back to your accommodation. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Transfer to Rwanda- Visit Nyungwe
After enjoying your excellent breakfast, you will check out of the accommodation and then drive to Kigali in Rwanda. You will arrive in Kigali in the Mid-morning, have a brief snack and then proceed south to Nyungwe National Park in the evening, check into your accommodation. Have dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Canopy walk and End of trip
On your last of the 12 Days Kenya, Uganda & Rwanda Safaris.
Wake up early morning, have breakfast at your accommodation and after breakfast. Connect to canopy walk, experience which takes about 2 hours. The experience is rewarding along its top of the great Nyunngwe forest.
Departure; After a great experience of canopy walk, you will check out of your accommodation and set off a journey back to Kigali with lunch en route. Arrive in Kigali in the evening and guide will drop you to a place of advice in Kigali.
