This 12 Days Tanzania Safari allows you to enjoy a perfect life out in the midst of the wildness of one of the most visited safari destinations in the world. You will be staying in the most comfortable safari lodges and permanent camps while listening to the sounds of nature. This tour is mainly focused on the south of Serengeti – Ndutu, following the great migration of wildebeests during the calving season.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to the hotel
On day 1 of the 12 Days Tanzania Safari, after arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport in Arusha, your private driver guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive in Arusha National Park
On day 2 of the 12 Days Tanzania Safari, you will wake up have breakfast, and embark on a game drive in Arusha National Park where you will be able to view the diversity of animal species. You will drive back to the lodge for lunch and rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
After morning breakfast, take off to Tarangire National Park.
The park got its name from The Tarangire River which runs through it. Tarangire River stands as a river of warthogs’’ and is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The area around is dotted with vegetation which is dense including elephant grass, acacia woodlands and lush groundwater forest. Tarangire National Park is a famous home for its elephant families which can often be watched congregating by the river. Commonly spotted animals here include giraffes, bushbuck and hartebeest and the range of predators to see includes lions and leopards. Lots of breeding species of birds are found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet.
After lunch, go for an extensive game drive. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
After morning breakfast, drive to the Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing.
Lake Manyara National Park is known as an unspoiled haven of groundwater lakes fed by underground springs and teeming with wildlife. More so, it is known as a home to the rare tree climbing lions. It also stuns with various flamingoes and other bird species thus ranking one of Africa’s premier birding destinations.
The park is also a remarkable place to see Africa’s most magical animals from massive elephants and cape buffalo among others.

Day 5-6: Drive to Ndutu Region ‘’The Great Migration –Calving Season
After having morning breakfast, you will drive to Ndutu region. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver guide who will brief you about you and continue to drive for game viewing at the Ndutu plains following the great migration of wildebeests and zebras.
During your two days here, you will enjoy the perfect game drive.
The Ndutu region forms part of the northern section of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stretches to the unfenced southern side expanding to the Serengeti National Park – a meeting point between these two untouched wilderness areas. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7-10: Transfer to Serengeti National Park – Central west/east
You will spend four days in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, then drive to Serengeti National Park.
Serengeti National Park is renowned as Tanzania’s oldest National Park Park and also one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. Its climate and vegetation have remained largely unmatched for millions of years. Perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. During your visit, you will watch a vast number of wildebeest; accompanied by large numbers of zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern while seeking fresh grazing.
After lunch and an extensive game drive.
You will enjoy full day game drives in different regions of the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area ‘’Incl crater’’
After breakfast, drive straight to Ngorongoro Highlands at your accommodation, with en-route lunch.
Later in the afternoon, you will do a walking activity on the edge of the crater where you will be taken by your driver guide to the meeting point where you will meet up with the park armed ranger and start the walking safari.
You will start your walk on the eastern side of the crater. The track takes you through thick forests well escorted by an armed ranger around the contours of the Ngorongoro Crater rim with rewarding views of the crater floor below. You walk on an easy animal trail and may experience local Masai with cattle.
After the activity, you will drive straight to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Departure to Kilimanjaro Int.Airport
After breakfast, jump onto your jeep and head back to the Airport or be dropped off at your hotel or any place of advice.
