Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Pick, Transfer to Hotel of your own booking
This is your day of rest in Nairobi ‘’self-catered for’’.
Day 2: Drive to Lake Naivasha, then continue to Lake Nakuru National Park
On day 2 of the 13 Days Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar Safari, you will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi after early breakfast as early as 6 am and start the journey to Lake Naivasha where you will have a boat safari to the Crescent Island which is found in the middle of the lake. Have a guided walk on which you will have a close view of several animals such as zebras, giraffes, gazelles and various birds.
After this interesting experience, you will check out of your lodge and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arriving in the late afternoon, go for a game drive exploring the park and enjoying the remarkable views of animals like lions, leopards, cape buffaloes and flamingoes on Lake Nakuru. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, Game Drive
Have breakfast followed by checkout of the lodge and then embark on a morning game drive on your way to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Upon arrival in the reserve, you will go for an en-route game drive as you will drive to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will return for another game drive exploring the reserve more and adventuring more animals.

Day 4 – 5: Full Day at Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Cultural Tour
After an early breakfast at your lodge head for your game-viewing activity in the open savannah plains of the reserve. You will look for a variety of wildlife species like the big five which include lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos as well as other wildlife species like giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, elands, zebras, topis, and many more. Chance to witness the great wildebeest migration and the Mara River crossing.
You will enjoy your lunch after your morning game drive as you view the beautiful scenery around the reserve and also watch wildlife species grazing in the plains. After lunch, you will have a Maasai cultural tour where you will interact with one of the most popular tribes and cultures in Africa. Thereafter, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Fly to Serengeti National Park
On day 6 of the 13 Days Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar Safari, you will have a very early breakfast, checkout from the lodge, and be transferred to the airstrip to catch your flight to Serengeti National Park.
Your guide will be waiting for you to land, then transfer you to your booked lodge for lunch and check-in.
In the afternoon you will drive to the park for an extensive game drive.

Day 7: Full day at the Serengeti National Park
After excellent breakfast at your lodge, you will be picked up by your guide to drive you on a morning game viewing experience around the vast savannah plains of Serengeti National Park to search for wildlife species such as the big five and also wildebeests, hippos, elands, impalas, kudu, waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, giraffes and predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs many others.
You will also have lunch after your morning game drive and later go for another game drive in the national park to search for other wildlife species and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Have breakfast followed by check out of your lodge and then drive for another game viewing experience at the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will have lunch before descending to the Ngorongoro crater (the world’s largest inactive caldera) to enjoy the wildlife-viewing adventure.
During your game drive, you will have a great view of a variety of wildlife species in the crater such as wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and elephants. You will also see predators including lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs many more. You will also visit Lake Magadi where you will view hippos, hippos, and other bird species. After this experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Drive to Tarangire National Park, Walking Safari
After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park home to large herds of elephants and other wildlife species. You will have a stop in Mto wa Mbu town where you expect to visit craft shops and also interact with the locals on your way to the national park.
You will also go for a game drive and explore the park, you will be able to view the diverse scenery of the national park. Also look out for different wildlife species around the national park like antelopes, gazelles, buffalos, leopards, waterbucks, monkeys, baboons many more as well as different bird species.
After your game drive, enjoy lunch, and later on get to head on one of the most interesting activities, a guided walking safari. A walking safari in Tarangire brings you up close with nature and wildlife including zebras, antelopes, giraffes, and many others. The walking safari is guided by park officials who are conversant with the park.
Return to the lodge thereafter, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Drive to Arusha and Flight to Zanzibar (accommodation at own booking)
You will have breakfast at the lodge and thereafter continue to Arusha and drop you off and also catch a flight to Zanzibar.
You will be picked up from the airport and be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 11: Prison Island, Spice Tour, and Stone Town
You will have breakfast at your hotel and after this, you will start your day’s activities.
You will have a Stone town tour and explore the alleyways of the town as you get to know about the history of Zanzibar and its different cultures. You will take a private boat from Stone Town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will adventure the Giant tortoises. During your tour of the island, you will also enjoy snorkeling. You will take a boat from Changuu Island back to Stone Town.
You will also engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations, different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of spices such as cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg and others. After the spice tour, you will drive back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Zanzibar Beach Experience
You will have a day to relax at the white sand beaches of Zanzibar island and enjoy great views of the Indian Ocean.

Day 13: Departure
After morning breakfast at your hotel, prepare for your transfer to the airport for your flight home. That marks the end of the safari.
