DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ENTEBBE

You will ascend steep craters and travel in the foothills of the iconic Rwenzori Mountains; so close to the equator line but with permanent glaciers on its summit. Major attractions on the safari; elephants, buffalos, hippos, leopards, waterbucks, topis and other antelopes and unique prides of tree climbing lions. You will enjoy a picnic lunch and shortly ascend steep highlands on travel to your hotel on the edges of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in a very different natural setting from the rest of the places you toured on Uganda safari. You will take a community walk, interact and share life experiences with the indigenous people.

DAY 14: GORILLA TREKKING

DAY 15: TRAVEL TO ENTEBBE

After breakfast, the resident cox wine will pick you to explore the Lake Bunyonyi on an exciting body soothing boat cruise. Be attentive and give the guide an audience as he shares the tales and cultural beliefs about the lake. You will start the journey back Kampala shortly, ascending the steep Kigezi hills, traverse the Ankole plateaus and cross the equator line into the Victoria basin and arrive in Kampala at sunset. You may venture out and explore the Uganda urban nightlife. 

DAY 16: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

The departure flight schedule determines the activities of the day. The safari guide will be on hand to help you plan events of the day appropriately. You may do brief Kampala city tour to purchase souvenir items and take last safari into Uganda last memorial photos. The safari guide will then escort you to Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight.
