2 Days Lake Nakuru safari is a short magical Kenya safari tour package that takes you to visit to a home of thousands of pink flamingos which inhabit the Lake Nakuru, the most sought after attraction in the park. Flamingos are abundant in Lake Nakuru for the presence of the blue-green algae which is their food.
Lake Nakuru lies on the floor of the Great Rift Valley surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a birder paradise.
The park hosts abundance of bird species including Slender –bellied greenbul, long-tailed widow bird, Rufous –throated neck, montane white –eye, red capped lark, northern puff back, Rappel’s robin –chat, Shinning sunbird, African fish Eagle among others. Lake Nakuru also habitat to wide range of endangered rhinos which are distributed between the black and white rhinos and other animals like Rothschild giraffe, waterbucks, buffaloes, lions, impalas among others. The trip starts and ends in Nairobi City.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi and Travel to Lake Nakuru National Park
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be picked up by your safari driver guide. Then, embark on a drive to Lake Nakuru National park a birder’s hoven and home to wide concentration of rhinos.
As you drive to the park, you will have a stopover at the World’s Greatest Rift Valley view point where you will have beautiful views of the rift valley escarpments and take memorable pictures.
Arrive in the park in afternoon time check in and have lunch. Later, go for an afternoon game drive around Lake Nakuru.
During the game drive you will be able to see millions of migratory birds in the acacia woodland, as you search for plain game including the white Rhinos. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2: Departure/ Nairobi
Wake up early have leisurely breakfast and check out of the lodge, after you will have en –route game drive which gives a chance to explore the park and spot a range of animals that inhabitants in the park such as Rhinos, African wild dogs, zebras, elands, waterbucks, lions, Cape buffaloes and the rare Rothschild giraffe many more. You will then proceed a drive back to Nairobi arrive in the afternoon.
You will be dropped at your hotel in Nairobi or at the Airport for the flight back home.
