This 2 Days Maasai Mara Safari is a short safari tour package that takes you in the southwestern part of Kenya that form part of the beautiful ecosystem that encompasses the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The whole area of the park settles within the enormous Great Rift Valley. The Maasai Mara Reserve is comprised of open savannah, rolling grasslands and undulating hills. The western border is the Esoit Olooloo escarpment of the Rift Valley as well as wildlife species.
The easternmost border measures 224 kilometers from Nairobi thus its eastern regions which are most visited. There are numerous private conservancies bordering the Maasai Mara, extending the ecosystem’s size.
Detailed Itinerary
Day1: Pick up and Drive to Maasai Mara Safari
You will be picked up from your hotel with your packed breakfast to take along the way. Transfer to Maasai Mara, driving through the Great Rift Valley along the Nakuru Highway. You will have a brief stopover at view point where you will have a rewardable view of the rift valley floor.
Arrive in the afternoon for check in at the camp and sign in at the park gate and then continue with afternoon game drives in search for animals. On your lucky day can spot animals like wildebeests, zebras, lion, cheetah, elephants and buffaloes, Thompson’s gazelle, hyena, black –backed and Side-striped jackals, Impala, Baboons, warthogs, Grant’s gazelle, water buck, reed-buck, hippo, crocodile, elands, bat-eared foxes among others. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Depart – Short Morning Game drive
Depart: After early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park for the en – route final morning game drive through the Maasai Mara Reserve. After the game drive, check out of the park and sign out of the arks gate. Then depart for Nairobi with en-route lunch. Arrive in the evening early enough to catch your flight departure or be dropped off at the hotel to mark the end of this unforgettable Kenya wildlife safari.
