Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
On your first day of the trip, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park from Kisoro. Arrive at mid-morning, start the hike from the park headquarters, passing through the forest and villages. In the afternoon, proceed through bamboo and heather zones, enjoying breaks for picture taking and rest.
In the evening, access Muhabura camp, set up camp, and enjoy dinner as you prepare for the summit climb. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Hike to the summit/Departure
Enjoy an early breakfast and start the ascent to the summit. Reach the summit and enjoy the panoramic views of the Virunga volcanoes and the crater lake. In the afternoon, descend back to Muhabura camp, pack up and return to Kisoro town.
Meal plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
Fitness: A moderate level of physical fitness is required.
