This 2 Days Safari to Aberdare National Park leads you to a famous location where Princess Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth 11 in 1952, after the death of her father, King George VI, and the news found her at the Treetops hotel for a stay. The park is also known for its numerous wildlife, including the rare bongo antelope and giant forest hog as well as being a sanctuary for the endangered black rhino.
The park offers opportunities for game drives, birdwatching and hiking, trout fishing, bird watching nocturnal animal viewing, among others.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi – Transfer to Aberdare
Very early in the morning, our safari driver guide will pick you up from Nairobi and then proceed north, driving through lush tea and coffee estates of central Kenya to the Aberdare Country Club or the Outspan Hotel Nyeri for Lunch.
Around Midday, arrive for a delicious lunch at the Aberdare Country Club or the Outspan Hotel Nyeri, where you will be assisted with the check-in. After lunch, relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee before you are driven to the Aberdare National Park. Have accommodation at either the Ark Tree Lodge or the Treetops Hotel
They are nested in the foothills of the Aberdare ranges, fully designed with high perches and balconies, overlooking a salt lick and waterhole.
15:30 hours: Around this time, we can spend the afternoon/evening and night watching wildlife from the comforts of our lodge.
Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner
Day 2: Morning Gamer Drive /Departure
Enjoy breakfast at leisure from the lodge, followed by a morning game drive in Aberdare National Park. Later, return to the Aberdare Country Club for lunch or the Outspan Hotel Nyeri for lunch. Engage in playing around golf, tennis while watched by a family of warthogs or opt to relax by the pool within the beautiful gardens before departing back to Nairobi.
Arrive back in Nairobi at around 19:00hour. Then be dropped off at your hotel/Nairobi residence.
