Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Diani /Mombasa to Tsavo East and Taita Hills
You will be picked up from the hotel in Diani – Mombasa or airport early morning by our professional driver guide. Start the journey to Tsavo East National Park, estimated to be 3 to 4-hour’ drive.
Upon arrival at Tsavo East, there is a stop at the entrance gate for registration and then head on a stunning mid-morning game drive in Tsavo East. You will explore the park’s vast savannah’s with eye seeing of herds of elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes and variety of bird species. Proceed your journey to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, arriving at saltlick safari lodge in time for lunch.
After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. During the activity, expect to see elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and various bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge. You will have a detestable dinner as you enjoy a perfect night of relaxation as you watch number of animals gather at the illuminated waterholes from the comfort of your lodge.
