Bwindi impenetrable national park is one of the most visited national park located in the southwestern part of Uganda at the edge of the Albertine rift valley in Kanungu district. The national park is famously known for harboring the endangered mountain gorillas which are found in four sectors namely Nkuringo sector in the south, Buhoma sector in the north, Ruhija sector in the east and Rushaga sector in the south.

2022 Park entrance fees to Bwindi impenetrable national park

In order to access Bwindi impenetrable national park, visitors will be required to present valid identification documents to confirm their resident status. A day’s entrance ticket to Bwindi impenetrable national park is valid for twenty four hours from the time of entrance and extra time spent in the park after 24 hours will be charged as an extra day. Children are persons aged between 5 to 15 years and persons below 5 years are exempt.

Landing fees exclude entry fees payable by passengers and pilot’s en-route do not pay entry fees if they spend less than 2 hours in the park.

Bwindi impenetrable national park can be visited all year round and can be either be accessed by road transport means whereby you will drive from Kampala via Masaka, Mbarara and then to the park headquarters or by air transport means whereby you will book scheduled or charter flights from Entebbe international airport to Kihihi or Kisoro airstrips and then connect the park headquarters by road.
