Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda and hotel transfer

Welcome to Uganda: Upon landing at Entebbe international airport on day 1 of 21 days Uganda safari tour, you will be picked up by our Company representative and driven to your hotel for a meal, freshen up and enjoy an evening city tour.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park & Boat cruise

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Evening canoe ride

Day 5: Sunrise boat cruise/Nature walk and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Day 6: Golden monkey trekking and connect to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Golden monkey trekking and drive from Mgahinga to Bwindi: Start your day 6 of 21 days Uganda safari tour with a heavy breakfast then be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing about Golden monkeys before embarking on the forest walk to search for these habituated troops of Golden monkeys in their natural habitats. Spend only 1 hour in their presence taking photographs and finally exit the forest back to your lodge for lunch. Day 7: Gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi impenetrable national park

Mountain Gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi: After breakfast on day 7 of 21 days Uganda safari tour, your safari driver will be waiting to take on the trailhead of the sector you intend to trek in to join other trekker and rangers for a briefing about Mountain Gorillas. After trekking, the rangers will lead into the forest for an adventure as you walk via different trails searching for the habituated gorilla family available for trekking. This will take about 2-8 hours depending on how fast you walk in favor of the slowest member in your group and also the movement of Gorillas depending on where they were seen the previous evening. Upon finding Gorillas, spend one hour with them taking photos and closely interacting with them then exit the forest, obtain your trekking certificate and return to the lodge for a relaxed evening or opt for a Batwa experience.

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Ishasha sector

Drive from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth national park: After breakfast on day 8 of 21 days Uganda safari tour, check out of the lodge and be driven from Bwindi impenetrable national park to Queen Elizabeth national park another stunning savanna park in Uganda. You will access the park via Ishasha sector where you will search for the tree climbing lions in this sector of Queen. Lunch will be enjoyed enroute before proceeding to the heart of the park for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park

Day 10:  Transfer to Kibale forest national park

Kibale forest national park harbors over 13 primate species including Chimpanzees, Vervet monkeys, Olive baboons and many more. Upon park arrival, proceed to check in your lodge for a relaxed lunch then opt to spend an evening at Leisure or let your safari driver know such that he organize an evening activity for you.

Day 11: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest national park

Chimpanzee trekking: After having breakfast on day 11 of 21 days Uganda safari tour, be transferred to Kanyanchu where park headquarters for Kibale forest National Park are situated. You will then be briefed about chimpanzee, the dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking, possible encounters and many more. After briefing, join rangers and other trekkers to start the search for the gentle primates in their natural habitats. After finding Chimpanzees, you will spend only 1 hour in their presence taking photographs and closely interacting with chimpanzees in their habitats. Exit the forest and return to your lodge for lunch. You may spend your evening at leisure or head to Bigodi wetland for a guided evening walk to spot more primates, birds and botanical plant species among others. Later on, you will be returned to the lodge for dinner and grab a night rest.

Day 12: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Drive from Kibale forest national park to Murchison falls national park: After breakfast at the lodge on day 12 of 21 days Uganda safari tour, leave Kibale forest national park and set off on a full day drive to Murchison falls national park via picturesque and thrilling landscape with spackling attractions with in the Albertine rift valley. Being a full day drive, lunch will be enroute along the way and upon park arrival, you will be able to enter Bugungu gate as you proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and night sleep.

Day 13: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park

Game drive and boat cruise: Day 13 of 21 days Uganda safari tour is such a great day as you will start it with a thrilling game drive in the Uganda’s largest park that thrills with a huge population of wildlife species including mammals like Elephants, Buffaloes, lions, giraffes, warthogs and several species of birds as will be seen during the game drive. After game drive, you will head back to the lodge for lunch then spend 2-3 hours cruising along the Nile River where you will be rewarded with a view of the world’s most powerful waterfall, animals, and bird species among others. Day 14: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

Drive from Murchison falls national park to Kidepo valley national park: this day 14 of 21 days Uganda safari tour is also a full day drive thus you need to arise early for breakfast then checkout and be driven from your Murchison falls national park to Kidepo valley national park situated far in the North-Eastern part of Uganda in border with South Sudan in the North and Masai Mara in Kenya to the East. Day 15: Full day game drive in Kidepo valley national park

Day 16: Morning game drive and Visit Karamojong community

After game drive, return to the lodge for lunch awaiting evening community tour to the local Karamojong homesteads where you will spend time with these locals as you learn their different cultural practices, visit their kraals, enjoy milking plus milk preservation practices and many more. Day 17: Trek to Morungole Mountains to visit IK people

Visit IK: after breakfast on day 17 of 21 days Uganda safari tour, set out for a full day adventure as you hike up Mount Morungole to visit the minority group of people the IK.  Lunch will be either a packed lunch or you may choose to have a taste of the meal prepared by the Ik people. Day 18: Transfer to Sipi Area via Pian Upe Game Reserve

Day 19: Sipi falls Hiking adventure and transfers to Jinja

After the hike, return to the lodge for lunch then check out and meet your driver for a transfer to Jinja for overnight. In case you arrive early, you will take on an evening boat cruise to the source of Nile River.

Day 20: White water rafting and transfer to Entebbe

White water rafting: this is a half day adventure thus after breakfast on day 20 of 21 days Uganda safari tour, head out for this breath taking experience only conducted along the water falls in Jinja. You will be able to raft up to grade 5. After the raft, enjoy your lunch and be driven to Entebbe with a stopover at Mabira forest one of the best natural forest in Uganda. Day 21: Beach relaxation and departures

Departures: in case you have an evening flight, you will spend your day relaxed along Lake Victoria at the beach as you enjoy all different beach activities like swimming, sports and many more. The final destination will be at Entebbe International Airport.
