DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 of 3 Day Rwanda gorilla trekking and cultural tour : Arrival, Visit Kigali Genocide memorial sites and transfer to Volcanoes national park
Upon arrival on day 1 of 3 days Rwanda Mountain gorilla trekking safari & Cultural tours, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to the hotel in Kigali for a meal and embark on a visit to Kigali Genocide memorial sites where you will be taken to the exact spot where Rwandese were murdered in cold blood and buried. Later on proceed with the Journey to volcanoes national park with a stop at the park headquarters before proceeding to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Note: On this day1, you ought to arrive as early as possible or else have an overnight in Kigali the day before your safari.

Day 2 of 3 days Rwanda Mountain gorilla trekking safari & Cultural tours: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park and Visit Iby’Iwacu cultural village
On day 2 of 3 days Rwanda Mountain gorilla trekking safari & Cultural tours, after breakfast, pack your backpack with enough drinking water and snacks then be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing as early 8:00am, you will be allocated the mountain gorilla family to trek alongside other 7 trekkers since the maximum number of trekkers per gorilla family is 8 person. After the briefing, you will set off to thrill into wilderness of volcanoes national park to search for habituated mountain Gorillas via thick blush and muddy trails. Spend an hour with the gorillas and later on return for lunch at the lodge. Once you are done with lunch, you will be transferred to Visit the Iby’Iwacu cultural village where you will enjoy a fun filled evening with the cultural entertainment of dance and drama before returning for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3 of 3 days Rwanda Mountain gorilla trekking safari & Cultural tours: Return to Kigali for City tour and Departures
This is the last day of your 3 days Rwanda Mountain gorilla trekking safari & Cultural tours. Enjoy your breakfast at leisure, check out and be returned to Kigali city to visit the remaining genocide memorial sites that were not visited on day 1, you will visits other remaining places in Kigali city including markets centers and craft shops. Enjoy your lunch and later on be transferred for departures at Kigali international airport.
