Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi and Transfer to Amboseli National Park
On your Day 1 of the 3 Days Amboseli Safari Kenya, your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Nairobi and transfer to the park -Amboseli. The drive takes around 3 to 4 hours to access Amboseli. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Then after lunch, set out on your afternoon safari drive in search for animals in their inhabits of savanna plains. After wildlife adventure, you will drive back to the lodge at sunset to freshen up and relax before enjoying a delicious dinner and overnight stay as you get ready for the next day -full day safari in Amboseli awaits.
Day 2: Full day explore Amboseli – Amboseli Nairobi Park
After you’re an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park for your full day explore wondrous Amboseli. You’ll be able to enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives to witness the wildlife adventure of this remarkable national park on the continent. While in search of Africa’s iconic animals lead by experienced tour guide expect to explore animal species like Hyenas, Cheetahs, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Hartebeest, Dik-dis, Kudu, Jackals, Bat-Eared Foxes, Fringe-Eared Oryx, Long -Necked Gerenuks, Warthog, Elephants, Hippos, Leopards, Cheetahs, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Giraffes, Zebra, Wildebeest, Hartebeest, Warthogs and Yellow Baboon among others. On your visiting day, if the weather is clear, you may enjoy perfect views of iconic Mount Kilimanjaro.
You will also be able to lookout to park’s various bird life, especially in the vicinity of the swamps and lakes -water birds such as Pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, hamerkops, lily-trotters, and the rare Madagascar Squacco heron and about 47 raptors have been identified including the rare Taita falcon and southern banded harrier eagle among others.
After your full day in Amboseli, you will return to the lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation. Then, in the evening you can sip on a sundowner on an observation platform overlooking waterhole with spectacular view of herds of elephants and other animals which often come to quench water. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
