Day 1: Arrive in Rwanda and Transfer to Volcanoes national park
Arrive in Rwanda: On arrival in Rwanda city or Kigali International Airport, you will meet our driver guide waiting for you be welcomed with a short briefing about the 3 Days Gorilla trekking. Then after transfer you to gorgeous city tour and be able to visit the Genocide memorial center, have lunch in the city but depending on time arrived. After lunch, you will be transferred to the park and later you will arrival at the park check in, spend the entire evening resting at the lodge as you get prepared for the morning activity.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking –Volcanoes National Park
Gorilla Trekking: Wake up early have breakfast served at the lodge, after your driver guide will drive you to the park head quarter Kiningi by 7am for briefing about the rules of gorilla trekking. After embark on the memorable adventure in the thick forest accompanied by the guide, hike through trails with great opportunity of seeing other animals like elephants, golden monkeys, buffaloes, beautiful birds, you also visit the Dian Fossey grave who was primatology it requires one to be physically fit. Once you meet the group of the gorillas one hour will be allowed to spend with them learn about their interesting behaviors, feed, play, capture photos and videos with digital camera. After trekking return back to the lodge have lunch or you will have it in the midst of the jungle depending on the movement of the gorilla group you’re trekking. Note Gorilla trekking experience can take 30 to 7 hours depending on the hiking trails, if not slippery and muddy and you’re grouped in 8 groups.
If you finish trekking in time, you can opt to do community walk where you will meet the local people interact with them, enjoy their amazing traditional dances and songs or spend the evening relaxing at the lodge or Visit the twin lakes ‘’Burera and Ruhondo the area is quite rewarding not forgetting to carry your clear camera for photography. Day 3: Back to Kigali or Airport
Back to Kigali: Wake up have your aroma coffee tea before you check out from the lodge. After you drive back to Kigali city, enjoy shopping from local market buy souvenirs as gifts to your friends and families or for your future remembrance. If time allows, you can visit the pottery project and the Franco-Rwanda cultural Centre. Then enjoy delicious lunch in one of the hotels in Kigali city and later to transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight.
