Day 1: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
The safari to Queen Elizabeth starts early morning after breakfast from your pick up point. You slowly ease your way through the congestion of traffic in Kampala traversing through the Victorian basin into the plateau cattle corridor. You will have a lunch break in Mbarara town and shortly descend into the rift onto your hotel. You will have a sunset game viewing driving to explore the wilderness and discover exciting sightings of Uganda safari.
Day 2: Gameviewing drive, boat cruise
Your nice sleep is cut short by a glass of juice or hot cup of coffee morning call. You take early breakfast and your safari guide will lead you into the plain grasslands on the lookout for beautiful Uganda safari sightings. The safari guide will explore and track desired wildlife attractions to make as many sightings as possible. You will traverse the Kasenyi Uganda kobs’ mating circuit and other tracks in search of predators on hunt. You will get back to hotel as the heat of the day increases and wildlife retreat to their dens. Shortly after lunch, you will take a 2-hour boat excursion on the Kazinga channel and interact with wildlife species visiting the waterholes to regulate their body temperatures in the river. You will encounter several wildife species en route to your hotel to mark a successful Uganda safari day.
Day 3: Game drive, travel to Kampala
Bear in mind your flight schedule in relation to the travel back to Kampala, the previous day game sightings and your own interest of the safari. Otherwise, you will take an early breakfast and descend onto the rift for a brief game viewing drive to top up on your previous wildlife sightings. You will then set out on a 6-hour drive to Kampala making a circuit through Fort Portal. You will reach Kampala in the afternoon and proceed to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight or your safari guide will escort you to your address to mark end of Uganda tour in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
