Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Tarangire National Park
Start with pick up at your agreed location in Arusha, you will be welcomed by our safari guide for a short briefing. Afterward, you will set off on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Drive through the breathtaking scenery of open grassland plains, dotted with ancient baobab trees and traditional Maasai villages, where nomadic herders tend to their cattle.
Tarangire National Park is home to Africa’s largest concentration of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, lions, leopards and cheetahs, among others.
You will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. Before the sun sets, connect back to your booked lodge or camp. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
Start your day on high with a delectable breakfast before descending over 600 meters into one of the world’s most breathtaking natural wonders, Ngorongoro Crater. Home to Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife, including majestic elephants, the rare and elusive black rhino and several wildebeest and zebras.
You will pause to enjoy a picnic lunch at the floor of this awe-inspiring crater. After, proceed on a game drive and as you explore, keep an eye out for predators like lions, hyenas, and the elusive serval cat. Also, the crater is a bird paradise with over 400 bird species recorded. After, drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy a delightful breakfast, heading towards the breathtaking Lake Manyara National Park. The park proves to be a photographer’s paradise, boasting beautiful landscapes and fabulous wildlife sightings.
Expecting to spot large flocks of flamingos, circling birds of prey like eagles or hawks, as well as colored lilac-breasted rollers, among others. After the safari, you be driven to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
