Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali /Hotel and Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
You will be picked from the airport by our professional driver guide and then set off to Bwindi National Park for your 4 Day Double Gorilla Trekking from Kigali. You will cross over to Uganda via Chanika border for a stopover for East African visa check up. The travelling journey is quite rewarding with great views of Kigezi hills which is characterized by the rolling hills and thrilling valleys. Then, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arrive in the evening at your booked lodge for sinner and overnight stay at Nkuringo Bwindi Safari Lodge – Luxury, Four Gorilla Lodge –Midrange or Rushaga Havens Lodge – Budget.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning breakfast, carry your packed lunch box and drive to the park headquarters for brief about gorilla trekking do’s and don’ts. After briefing at 8:30 am, go meet up with the park ranger guide to allocate you to an assigned gorilla family that fits your level of fitness. The trek can last 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on their movement in their nature environment. Once you find gorilla family, you will be given an hour to spend with them as you learn from their habit, behavior, play, feed, take photography and video capture.
After trek back to the starting point to be rewarded your gorilla trekking certificate and then you will connect to your lodge. Have dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Second Optional Gorilla Trek or Gorilla Habituation Experience
On this day, you may choose to go for a second optional gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. After breakfast and carry your packed lunch. You will be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules. Optionally you can do a Gorilla Habituation Experience which is a full-day life experience involving 4 hours to spend with them. After gorilla trekking, you can choose to do other activities like visit the Batwa community where you will be able to interact with the local community. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali City /Airport
After breakfast followed by check out of lodge and transfer back to Kigali. Upon arrival, you will be driven to Kigali International Airport for your flight departure or be dropped off at any advised place in Kigali.
