Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On day 1 of the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking and Habituation Tour in Uganda, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On the way you will have a stopover in the Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will be able to view the famous tree-climbing lions which will be lazily lying up in acacia/ fig tree branches. After the game drive in the Ishasha sector, you will have lunch and then continue the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ruhija gorilla mist camp-midrange or Bakiga lodge -budget.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Rushaga sector
After an early breakfast on day 2 of the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking and Habituation Tour in Uganda, you will carry a packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During trekking, you will be able to view other primate species, different birds,and plants among others, and once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities, take photos and record videos.
After the one-hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Rushaga sector in the southern part of Bwindi impenetrable national park, and upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ichumbi lodge-midrange or Rushaga gorilla haven lodge-budget.

Day 3: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast on day 3 of the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking and Habituation Tour in Uganda, you will carry a packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide for a briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during trekking. After the briefing, you will join a team of researchers, scientists, and park guides among others, and start trekking. The gorilla habituation experience is a full-day activity and during trekking, you will be able to view other wildlife species including other primate species, and different trees among others.
Once the gorillas under habituation process are located you will be allowed to spend four hours with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn and monitor their habits, and behaviors, watch them feed, breastfeed, play, engage in the naming process, take photos among others. After the face-to-face interaction with the mountain gorillas you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet your driver guide and return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight as above.

Day 4: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking and Habituation Tour in Uganda, you will enjoy breakfast, check out of the lodge and then meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch and another stopover at the Equator where you will take photos and buy craft souvenirs among others. From the Equator you will proceed to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advice.
