Day 1: Arrival

Have a second stopover at Igongo cultural center in mbarara for a meal and then proceed the journey to Bwindi where you will arrive in the evening for check in, Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Keeping in mind that gorilla trekking is carried out in Bwindi impenetrable forest, it is not easy to determine the exact time spent on gorilla trek, but it can be estimated to range from 2 hours to a full day depending on the distance moved by the mountain gorillas and the fitness level of trekkers. • Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi: Once you are done with lunch, have some relaxation and then check out of the lodge to have a drive to Lake Bunyonyi in kabale. Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa. Upon arrival at Bunyonyi, you will check in for dinner and have an overnight.
