Day 1 of 5 days safari: Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes national park

- Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park: on day 2 of 5 days safari in Volcanoes national park and Virunga national park, breakfast will be served in time, then pack your gorilla trekking gears and meet your safari driver for a transfer to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking safaris briefing with a group of other trekkers. Volcanoes national park headquarters are situated in Kiningi and you need to be there as early as possible in order to catch up with the rest of the trekkers as the trek starts at 8:00am after briefing. In a duration of 2-7 hours or even 12 hours, you will be in position to encounter with the allocated group of mountain gorillas then spend a maximum period of one hour and later on return to the lodge for lunch as you await dinner and overnight. - Volcanoes national park – Virunga national park: Once you are done with breakfast on day 3 of 5 days safari in Volcanoes national park and Virunga national park, you will check out of the lodge with all your belongings them be picked up by your safari driver to transfer from Volcanoes national park to Goma boarder point for Rwanda and Congo. At the border, you will clear with the virunga park management then obtain your gorilla trekking permit and head to the park for lodge check in. the journey to Virunga national park from volcanoes national park is so rewarding as you will be in position to have a scenic view of the thrilling vegetation cover, the Rwanda hills being a land of 100 hills, the beautiful Gisenyi town, the stunning lake Kivu and the Virunga volcanoes with in Virunga massif and many more. Lunch will be enroute and dinner at the lodge.

Day 4 of 5 days safari: Congo Gorilla trekking in Virunga national park
- Gorilla trekking in Virunga national park: After breakfast in the morning of day 4 out of 5 days safari in Volcanoes national park and Virunga national park, you will be driven to Bukima patrol post where briefing for gorilla trekking are conducted. After briefing, you will be in position to hire a porter or even two porters depending on your capacity then penetrate the forest and move via different trails until you finally land on the mountain gorillas that have been habituated and used to human beings. After tracing and finding these endangered mountain gorillas, you will be offered just one hour to capture as many photographs as possible as long as your camera flashlight is off and then return to Bukima where your will be picked and returned to the lodge for a relaxed evening as you watch the birds in the areas nearby your lodge.

Day 5 of 5 days safari: Transfer from Virunga national park to Kigali for departures
