Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale and Amabere Caves
Depart from Kampala and transfer to Kibale National Park. The journey takes 5 to 6 hours drive. Enjoy lunch en route. Upon arrival, you will visit the Amabere Ga Nnyinamwiru Caves and explore the scenic crater fields. Connect to your booked lodge in the park. Have a delectable dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk
Enjoy morning breakfast at the lodge, followed by a transfer to the park headquarters for chimp trekking rules and expectations. After the briefing, meet up with the ranger to allocate you these great apes where they were last seen the previous day. The trek can last 1 to 5 hours, depending on their location. On finding them, you will be allowed an hour to spend watching their amazing lifestyle, habits, feed, and play as well as capturing videos. After, walk back to meet your driver guide, return to the lodge to relax and delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, guided nature walks in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to various monkeys and birds. Connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, after a relaxed breakfast -often passing through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will spot the unique tree- climbing lions. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
On this day, you will participate in the stunning mountain gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi, after a short briefing about gorilla trekking dos and don’ts. After the briefing, walk into the forest trails in the accompany of the skilled park ranger to search for a gorilla family. Once found, you will be given one hour to observe the gorillas, how they behave and feed as well as enjoy taking memorable photo shoot.
After, if time allows, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening boat cruise before returning to your lodge for dinner and the night.

Day 5: Return to Kampala
Start the journey back to Kampala, with a stop along the way, probably at the Uganda Equator. Optional, visit the Igongo cultural Centre.
Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe for your departure.
