Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari Tanzania driver-guide. You will then be connected to your booked hotel in Arusha be briefed about your upcoming safari adventure. You will have time to relax, enjoy your meals, and spend the night at your hotel, resting and getting ready for the incredible safari experiences that await you in the days ahead. Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After morning breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your accommodation and then set off on the journey to Tarangire National Park with packed lunches for your first game drives of your Tanzanian Safari. Tarangire National Park is known for its large elephant population and ancient baobab trees. You may watch animals like eland, gerenuk, lesser kudu, and lions. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Game En Route to Serengeti National Park

Have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and drive to Serengeti National Park with an en-route game drive. Continue the drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will visit an authentic Maasai Village to learn about their culture and lifestyle. Enjoy a picnic lunch. Then, proceed to Naabi Hill Gate, the main entrance to the Serengeti. While your guide takes care of the necessary details, you can stop to stretch your legs on the walking trail to the observation point for impressive views. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 4: Full Day at Serengeti National Park

On this day of your safari, after your morning breakfast. You will spend the whole day game viewing in the Serengeti. The Serengeti National Park is renowned for its annual migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles and their predators move through the Serengeti and Maasai Mara ecosystem. The park offers the best game viewing adventure in Africa. After an early evening game viewing, proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy an aromatic coffee /tea served with delicious snacks at the camp before starting your drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the major highlights of your safari. The Ngorongoro Crater, formed by the collapse of a volcano over two million years ago, and home to a huge concentration of wildlife.

You will descend more than 600 meters to the crater floor, where you will explore the area on game viewing. If you’re lucky, you may even watch the elusive black rhino. Have a break for lunch near the hippo pool, and you will proceed with your game viewing till late afternoon. You will then drive to your lodge in Karatu for your meals and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure

On your final day of 6 Days Family Safari in Tanzania. You can head for a short morning game drive and then come back to the lodge to have breakfast. Or spend leisure at the lodge and later, check out of the lodge. You will be transferred back to Arusha to be dropped off at your hotel or at any other advised place.
