This 6 Days Murchison Falls and White water rafting Safari is quite remarkable combining wildlife and lifetime adventure along the source of the Nile in Jinja. This trip leads you to Murchison Falls National Park where you will participate in the morning games, boat cruise, do chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest as well as engage in Rhino tracking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Uganda. You will then, visit the source of the Nile in Jinja where you will engage in quad biking, boat cruises and white water rafting among others. The trip starts and ends in Kampala /Entebbe.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park,
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe International Airport, on the first day of the 6 Days Murchison Falls and White water rafting Safari, you will be picked up by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then set off to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes about 5 to 6 hours’ drive and on the way you will have a stopover in Masindi town for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park and upon arrival you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will enjoy great views of the waterfall, water splashes, listen to the roars many more. From the top of the falls, you embark for an evening game drive if time allows where you will be able to view animals such as elephants, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, and warthogs among others. After the game drive you will drive to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari lodge-luxury, Pakuba Safari Lodge – Midrange

Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise
After an early breakfast, you will meet up with your driver guide to head for the morning game drive where you will be able to view animals such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest, leopards among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge to have lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an amazing boat cruise adventure to the bottom of the falls on the River Nile. The boat ride starts at around 2:00 pm and takes about 2 hours, during this remarkable activity, you will be able to view numerous animal species such as elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes among others along the water shores, large concentrations of hippos and crocodiles in the water, water birds among others. After the boat cruise, you will return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight as above.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest
You will have an early breakfast, you will carry a packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Budongo forest for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 2 hours to 5 hours depending on their movements in the jungle. During trekking, you will be able to encounter other wildlife species and on finding the chimpanzees, you will be given an hour to spend with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn about their behaviors, watch them breastfeed, feed, play, rest, take photos and record the moments.
After the one hour with the chimpanzees, you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Budongo eco lodge

Day 4: Transfer to Jinja via ziwa rhino tracking
On this day, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to drive back to Kampala. On your way, you will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary where you will participate in rhino tracking and another stopover for en-route lunch. After lunch, you will continue to Jinja. On arriving, you will connect to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Lemala Wildwaters Lodge

Day 5: White water rafting
After breakfast, meet your driver and connect for a water rafting experience on the Nile, it’s a full-day activity. You will first report for briefing and then be provided with rafting gear for the impressive activity. After rafting, you will connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 6: Source of the Nile boat cruise, Quad biking and departure to Entebbe
On the last day of the safari you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to head out for an amazing boat cruise to the source of the Nile where after you will go for a Quad biking adventure along the Nile in the countryside where you will ride it through the local communities, farmlands among others. After Quad biking, you will meet up with your driver guide and transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of your choice.
