Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kigali – Akagera National Park
On day 1 of the 6 Days Rwanda City Tour, Game Drive & Canopy Walk, upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our safari driver–guide and then transfer to Akagera National Park the home for wildlife species in Rwanda. You will have en–route lunch and arrive at the park, check into the lodge rest a bit.
Later, go for an evening game drive where you will spot herds of elephants, buffaloes, and zebras among others. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game drive and Boat ride
After breakfast, go for the early morning game drive searching for some of the big 5 of Africa which includes lions, buffaloes, elephants, and leopards among other wildlife species like the warthogs, antelopes, water and bush bucks, kob, and topi among others. Return to the lodge for early lunch. Afterward, go for an afternoon boat ride along Lake Kivu where you will spot water species like various birdlife and crocodiles among others. Thereafter, drive northwards of the park and later drive back to Kigali for the stay overnight.

Day 3: Morning City Tours and Spend the Second Night at Kigali
After breakfast, get started for the City Tour where you will visit the Genocide Memorial site, Kaplaki Crafts shop, Inema Art Gallery, Nyamata Church, and Ntarama Museum. You may also visit at anti –the Genocide Memorial located at Parliament, Richard Kandt, Ex-Presidential Museum located at Kanombe 5 Kilometers from Kigali International Airport later drive back to your accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Drive from Kigali – Nyungwe Forest
After breakfast, transfer to Nyungwe Forest on your way, you will have lunch en route, other stopovers will be made to admire the scenery then upon your arrival check in at your hotel/lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Canopy walk and return back to Kigali for an overnight stay
On this day, wake up and have breakfast. After, you will be dropped at the park offices for the briefing about the canopy walk and the forest. Thereafter, meet the park ranger guide to lead you into the tropical rain forest at Uwinka Visitor Centre to start Canopy walk in the tree branches. While on this walking sea far experience, expect to adventure other primates like the white and black Columbus, Vervet monkeys, tailed monkeys, and Manage ably.
More birds to be watched in the Nyungwe National Park, so drive to the lodge for lunch.
Later then, in the evening do the canopy walk with gainful sky viewing of green canopy cover, notable birds, and primates. Just know the experience is worthwhile. Later, turn back for Kigali and overnight. Dinner and overnight.
