Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Depending on your location in Kampala on the first day of the 6 Days Uganda Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi & Lake Mburo Safari, you will be picked up by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park which covers 8 to 9 hours’ drive inclusive with a stopover at the equator. Then after, proceed a drive to Mbarara with a stopover for lunch en-route. Continue to drive on the way you will enjoy beautiful views of rolling hills, terraced farmlands, scenic landscapes, and many others. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge –Midrange, Buhoma Community Rest Camp – Budget

Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience.
Wake up early, have breakfast, and connect to the forest with your packed food and mineral water. The briefing from the park warden about the gorillas starts at 7:30 am where you will be guided on highlights of mountain gorillas. The hike can take anything from 2-8 hours. Once you access the unique mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away from the gorillas. Return to the lodge to freshen up. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Cultural tour and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
On day 3 of the 6 Days Uganda Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi & Lake Mburo Safari, after an early breakfast of the safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for an exciting cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa, learn about their amazing culture, and way of living, visit their homesteads, enjoy their cultural performances many more. After the community tour, you will return to the lodge for lunch where you will check out of the lodge and then embark on Lake Bunyonyi known as the second-deepest lake in Africa and to some people call it home to various little bird species. Upon arrival, you will check into your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at Bunyonyi Eco Rest Camp –Budget
Day 4: Boat cruise and cultural tour
After having breakfast and then go for an interesting boat cruise where you will be able to explore some of the most incredible 29 islands, view different bird species, terraced farmlands many more. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for lunch where you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure or go for an optional cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the local people and learn about their way of living and others. After the cultural tour, return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park-afternoon boat cruise
After a perfect breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch where after you will drive for an afternoon boat cruise. During your boat cruise, you will be able to view various water species like hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs drinking water along the shores, water birds many others. After the boat cruise, drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Eagle Nest –Budget

Day 6: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala
After an early breakfast on the last of the safari, you will go for a morning game drive in the park where you will be rewarded with marvelous views of animals such as waterbucks, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, topi, giraffes, warthogs among others which will be grazing in open savannah grassland. After the game drive, you will drive out of the park and set back to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe to enjoy lunch and impressive photography, buy crafts items, and then proceed with the journey to Kampala. Arriving in the early evening. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of your advice.
