Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Gulu,
Upon arrival, on the first day of the 6 Days Uganda Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls Safari, our driver guide will pick you up early in the morning, brief you about the safari and then set off to Kidepo Valley National Park with a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking where after you will continue with en-route lunch and enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful landscape, countryside, plantations. Arrive in Gulu, you will check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Churchill Hotel Gulu.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo National Park and evening game drive
On the second day of the 6 Days Uganda Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls Safari, you will have breakfast and your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel to continue the journey to Kidepo National Park. On your way, you will have scenic views of the landscape, hills, Karamojong manyatas, and others and upon arrival, you will check into the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will freshen up and relax as you get ready for your evening game drive where you will get a great chance to take memorable pictures and have stunning views of the sunset, animals like giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, lions, waterbucks, bushbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest’s many others. After the game drive you will return back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Kidepo Savannah lodge-midrange or Apoka Rest camp-budget

Day 3: Morning game drive and cultural tour
Have an early breakfast on the third day of the safari you will have an early breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to embark on a morning game drive. During the game drive you will be able to explore the diversity of animals like lions, cheetahs, leopards, bush duikers, jackals, buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, giraffes, zebras, and bird species among others. After the game drive, you will return back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will drive for a cultural tour where you will visit the Karamojong people who live near Kidepo Valley National Park. During the cultural tour expect to interact with the local people in the community which gives you a chance to know more about their lifestyle, culture where you can marry many wives depending on the number of cattle you own, learn about their way of living, visit their homesteads which are known as manyattas, enjoy traditional dances and songs, listen to ancient stories much more others. After the cultural tour, you will meet up with your driver and connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up and enjoy breakfast on the fourth day of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way, you will have impressive views of the beautiful scenery, landscape, and farmlands among others. Arrive at the park, check into the lodge, and have dinner, and overnight stay at Pakuba Safari lodge-midrange or Parkside Safari lodge-budget.

Day 5: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the fifth day of the safari, you will meet up with your driver guide and head for a morning game drive where you will be able to watch predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas among others if you are lucky, view other animals like buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, oribi, warthogs, bird species among others. After the morning game drive, return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon boat cruise where you will take rewarding pictures, view animals like hippos and Nile crocodiles in the air, other animals like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes among others drink water along the shores, aquatic bird species such as the grey-headed Kingfisher, Bee-eaters, Herons, cormorants, long-toed plover, African darter, veracious dove many more. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the 6 Days Uganda Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls Safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to the top of the falls where you will be able to enjoy spectacular views of the waterfall, listen to roars of the water among others. From the top of the falls, you will transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way. Upon arrival in Kampala, our driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your next flight or drop you off at any convenient place.
