The 6 days Uganda safari with Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking and wildlife takes place in different tourists destination in western and south western part of Uganda.  Bwindi impenetrable forest national park the home of more endangered mountain gorillas where gorilla trekking takes place since the park has over 600 Gorillas, over 250 butterfly species and over 350 species of birds, trees among many others occupying the total area of 331 square kilo meters set on edge of the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift.

Kibale forest national park is an ever green rainforest with tall trees forming a dark green canopy over the head while the ground is covered by the fallen vegetation. The park is well known as the home of Chimpanzees with 25% of Primates for Chimpanzee tracking and habituation activities, over 100 individual in each community, monkeys, baboons, bush babies, colobus can also be seen among many others . Kibale National Park was gazette in 1932 and established in 1993 to protect large of the forest, covering the total area of 766 Kilometers squared in size ranges between 1,100m and 1,600meters elevation.

And finally you will visit queen Elizabeth national park situated in the western part of Uganda, covering the districts of Kasese, kamwengye, bushenyi , Rubirizi and Rukungiri. The park lies between the 2 lakes; George and Edward with the kazinga channel crossing through. The park is found against the back drop of the magnificent Rwenzori Mountain occupying the total area of 1, 989 kilometers squared famous for its wildlife, unusual tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector and the large concentration of Hippos in the national park.

DAY I ; KAMPALA or ENTEBBE – KIBALE NATIONAL PARK ;

 Depending on you arrival time at Entebbe international airport on the first day of 6 days Uganda safari , you will be welcomed by your guide who will transfer you from Entebbe or Kampala to Kibale Forest via mubende – Fort-portal  overlooking the great views, farm lands where you will get a chance to see the terraced tea estates  and community villages  ; you will have lunch en-route then proceed for nature tour. When you arrive at the park continue and go for a visit to the beautiful crater lakes area, Later continue to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2;  chimpanzee trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast on an early morning, you will meet with the driver guide as he will transfer you to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu for chimpanzee trekking briefing. After briefing, at around 8:00am you will start chimpanzee trekking through this rain-forest as you will be guided by the park rangers in search of the habituated chimpanzee family. You will be allowed to spend an hour with the primates in their natural habitats which give an opportunity to observe their behaviors, habits, take pictures and record the great moments.

It is always a thrilling and an unforgettable experience meeting chimpanzees face to face and watching them engage in their daily activities that includes playing, jumping, feeding etc. Also other animals can be spotted such as the grey cheeked mangabeys, L’Hoest’s, baboons, monkeys, and also different birds.

Later , you will trek back to the headquarters meet you driver then go back to the lodge , have lunch and check out as you embark on your 3 hours journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park; home to a diverse number of wildlife.

DAY 3 ; GAME DRIVE AND BOUT CRUISE

On the third day of 6 days Uganda safari, You will have an early morning breakfast and the guide will pick you from the the lodge  to go for an adventurous  game drive in Kasenyi plains ,where you will see some early risers along the Kasenyi track such as Elephants, antelopes, Uganda kobs, predators, solitary buffaloes, lions, warthogs, as well as birds.

After the drive which takes 2 to 3 hours return to the lodge have lunch then go for an interesting boat cruise at 2PM on Kazinga channel the water channel that joins lake Edward and lake George .

The boat cruise on Kazinga Channel is one of the amazing activities to enjoy in the park; you will be able to enjoy the stunning views of the beautiful scenaries , landscapes ,watching animals like elephants, buffaloes along the banks, crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, aquatic birds among others. After the boat cruise that takes 2-3 hours, Return to the lodge, freshen up, have dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4; Transfer to Bwindi forest national park

After a morning breakfast, Transfer to Ishasha sector for an opportunity of Tree climbing lions and many other wild species , along the way you will enjoy the beautiful landscape , have lunch en route then embark on 4-5 hour drive journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park . Arrive in the park late afternoon, connect to you lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5; Gorilla trekking and batwa community visits

Have break breakfast on the fourth day of the safari, you will carry a packed lunch and meet you driver to the Park head offices. On reaching there by 7:30am you will be briefed about what to do/ rules and regulations to follow during  trekking after which you will be led by the ranger guides through the mist jungle.

Trekking usually takes between to 8 hours or even a full day due to the location of gorillas.  During gorilla trekking you will spot other primates species that include; monkeys , baboon,  chimpanzee  , birds  among others .When you see them , it will be a great and fun time as you watch them, feeding, breastfeeding, grooming young ones ,playing , observing their behaviors , way of living among others  and only 1 hour is permitted to watch them. Also ensure you carry enough water with you, hats, sun glasses, rain coats, and non- flash cameras. Later after the trek, head back to the lodge; have lunch as you prepare to for a community visit among the Batwa people in the evening.

DAY 6; DEPARTURE

After RELAXED breakfast on the last day of the safari, check out of the lodge and met you guide driver to transfer to Kampalaor Entebbe international airport , On your way you will have lunch en-route  in Mbarara and a stopover for photos at the Equator, you can also buy some souvenirs. Continue to Kampala reaching in the evening
