Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Gulu,
Depending on your location in Kampala on the first day of the 7 Days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls National Park Safari, our driver guide will pick you up early in the morning, brief you about the safari, and then head on a long journey to Kidepo Valley National Park which lies in northeastern Uganda. On the way you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking where you will continue with an en-route lunch and enjoy spectacular views of the beautiful landscape, countryside, and plantations. You will have an overnight stay in Gulu, dinner, and an overnight stay at Churchill Hotel Gulu.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo National Park and evening game drive
On this day of the second day of the safari, wake up, enjoy breakfast and your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel to proceed the journey to Kidepo National Park. On your way, you will have beautiful scenic views of the landscape, hills, and Karamojong manyatas among others. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will freshen up and relax as you prepare yourself for an evening game drive where you will be amazed to take beautiful pictures and have perfect views of the sunset, animals like giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, lions, waterbucks, bushbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest’s many others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Kidepo Savannah Lodge-midrange.

Day 3: Morning game drive and cultural tour
On the third day of the 7 Days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls National Park Safari, you will have an early breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive. During the game, drive expects to view different animals like lions, cheetahs, leopards, bush duikers, jackals, buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, giraffes, zebras, and bird species among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go on a remarkable cultural tour where you will visit the Karamojong people who live near Kidepo Valley National Park. During the cultural tour, you will interact with the local people in the community which gives you an amazing chance to learn more about their lifestyle, and culture, learn about their way of living, visit their homesteads which are known as manyattas, enjoy traditional performances in form of dances and songs, listen to ancient stories many more. After the cultural tour, you will meet up with your driver and then transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Full-day game drive in Kidepo National Park
You will enjoy breakfast and brace yourself for another thrilling game drive in the vast savannah of Kidepo Valley intercepted by patches of Borassus palm and the rising scenic hills. Enjoy the excellent views of the morning sun shining over the hills of Lomej, the Lotukei Mountains before the rays strike down to the endless valleys of Kidepo and Narus valley, view different animals like buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, elands, impalas, giraffes and much more.
Return to the lodge for lunch and unwind a bit before heading on another game drive to Kidepo Valley to visit the hot springs where you will be able to view Ostriches within the region and other animals that you might have missed during the previous game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
You will have a delicious lunch, followed by a check out of the lodge, and then go meet up with your driver guide to embark on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way, you will have an en-route lunch and enjoy impressive views of the beautiful scenery, landscape much more. Upon arrival, you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will be impressed with stunning views of the waterfall, water splashes many others. From the top of the falls, return to your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Pakuba safari lodge-midrange or Parkside safari lodge-budget.

Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the sixth day of the 7 Days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls National Park Safari, you will meet up with your driver guide and go for a morning game drive where you expect to view predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas among others if you are lucky, view other animals like buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, oribi, warthogs, bird species many more. After the morning game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for an afternoon boat cruise where you will take beautiful pictures, and view animals such as hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, other animals to see include; elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, and others drinking water along the shores, aquatic bird species among others. After the boat cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 7: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the 7 days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls National Park safari, you will wake up on a relaxed morning breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala en-route lunch on the way. Upon arrival in Kampala, our driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of advice.
