DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Pick Up from Kigali and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Rwanda pick up and drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park: On day 1 of 7 days Rwanda, Uganda and Congo Safari, our company driver / representative will be ready in Kigali to welcome you either from the airport or pick you up from a hotel where you would have spent an overnight and embark on a drive direct to Uganda the pearl of Africa to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will spend a night at the park in the sector you intend to trek in ready for an adventurous activity of Gorilla trekking the next day.

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park – Uganda.
Mountain gorilla trekking: After breakfast on day 2 of 7 days Rwanda, Uganda and Congo Safari, head out for a transfer to the briefing ground to participate in briefing before starting the search of the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitats. During briefing, you will get to know about the dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking, the possible challenges and many more then hire a porter and be guided into the forest to start the search of these endangered primates in their natural habitats in the impenetrable forest. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi last from a few minutes to several hours depending on the movement of gorillas and the trekking spend of the trekkers considering the slowest person in the group. After finding gorillas, you will have only one hour in their presence closely interacting and taking photographs among others. Exit the forest and return to the lodge for a relaxed dinner and overnight rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mutanda for canoe ride and head to Musanze – Rwanda.
Drive to Lake Mutanda for canoe ride: Have your breakfast in time on day 3 of 7 days Rwanda, Uganda and Congo Safari then check out of your lodge and head to Lake Mutanda where you will enjoy a fascinating canoe ride, take a nature walk exploring the coffee plantations and enjoy a relaxed lunch. After lunch, meet your driver once again for a drive to Musanze in Rwanda via cyanika border and proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 4: Golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes national park – Rwanda.
Golden monkey trekking: After breakfast on day 4 of 7 days Rwanda, Uganda and Congo Safari, meet your safari driver for a transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on an early morning golden monkey trekking experience. During the trek, you will as well encounter with other wildlife that thrill in the same forest with the golden monkey. The trek lasts from a few minutes to about 3 hours after which you will be allowed just an hour in presence of these beautiful primates taking photos and recording short videos. Exit the forest and head to your lodge for lunch after which you will check out of the lodge and be driven to Gisenyi where you will cross over into Goma for an overnight.

Day 5: Hike Mt. Nyiragongo in Virunga national park – Congo.
Nyiragongo Hike (Ascend): Enjoy your breakfast early in the morning on day 5 of 7 days Rwanda, Uganda and Congo Safari then check out of the lodge with packed lunch box and be driven to Kibati ranger post for a briefing about Nyiragongo hike. The hike start at 10am so be there in time for briefing since all hikers have to set off in a group and once left there is no refund. Well, during briefing, you will all the information about Nyiragongo, its formation, when it last erupted and many more. After briefing, the hike commences as you walk via different vegetation covers. Lunch will enjoyed along the hike while dinner will be at the summit upon arrival. You have a full night to view the glowing Lava Lake.

Day 6: Descend Nyiragongo and drive to Kibuye – Rwanda.
Descend Nyiragongo: After breakfast at the summit of Nyiragongo volcano, meet other hikers and begin descending back to Kibati ranger post where you will be picked and transferred back to Gisenyi for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Kibuye for a relaxed evening exploring different attractions like Islands, boat ride and many more. Retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 7: Return to Kigali and departure – Rwanda
Drive back to Kigali for departures: After breakfast on day 7 of 7 days Rwanda, Uganda and Congo Safari, check out of the lodge and be driven back to Kigali the capital city of Rwanda where you will arrive in time for lunch and departures.
