Day 1: Arusha /Moshi to Tarangire National Park
On day 1 of the 7 Day Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha after your delicious breakfast. Your driver guide will brief you about the safari as you head towards Tarangire National Park. The drive covers 150 kilometers in 3 hours.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its diverse landscape and over nine different vegetation zones. You will arrive in time for lunch and after, embark on your afternoon game drive where you will be welcomed by the ancient and gigantic Baobab trees, which make even animals like the giraffe look thrilling.
The park covers over 3,000 square kilometers and got its name from the Tarangire river that flows through it. Whereby the river attracts a lot of diverse animals and you should be able to explore a lot of herds of elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes and zebra. During your visit, you might be able to spot the tree climbing python and the long-necked Gerek.
Tarangire National Park is home to the highest concentration of elephants, which offers a beautiful chance for you to observe interactions between elephant families. After the game drive, you will head back to your camp /lodge where a tasty dinner awaits you. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
On the 2nd day of the 7 Day Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari, you will be filled with much excitement as you make your way into the most rewardable wildlife park in the world. After your perfect breakfast, you will head out towards the famous Serengeti National Park. On your way, you will enjoy the endless plains in the local African language and watch the grassland stretch out as far as the eye can see. The park has an overall land area of 14,763 square kilometers – a home to glorious Big 5 such as elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions and leopards and also a pleasant site to observe one of Africa’s most beautiful animals ‘’the Impala’’. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa.
Serengeti National Park is the most popular safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. Then, the central portion of the Serengeti – greatly known as Seronera area one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park.

Day 3: Central Serengeti to North Serengeti
You will start your very early in the morning by 8 am after your relaxed breakfast. Today, you will explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park and then move towards the northern part of the park.
The en-route game drive will offer mild action from the resident game. As you drive close to the northern part of the Serengeti, you will notice the terrain change from the usual plain grassland to more hilly and broken terrain.
Well, the northern region offers a huge number of game such as zebras, topi gazelle, buffaloes, leopards and lions. You will enjoy a picnic lunch during the day long drive itself. Upon your time of arrival, you will be able to spend a few hours by the Mara river. The day comes to an end with a delicious dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to North Serengeti
After a good breakfast, then start your day by 8 am. The migration event starts between mid-June to September in this region. From mid-June to September, the Mara River in this region offers the most iconic river crossing of the great migration of wildebeest.
One watching the wildebeest surging through the torrential flow. Many drowning and a few falling prey to lurking crocodiles is worth a visit.
If it’s your lucky day you will be able to witness this beautiful natural wonder and great nature view. Tracing the great migration you might even move towards the Lobo valley. This Lobo valley is scattered with woodlands, plains, hills and pristine granite Kopjes.
During the dry season, the permanent water source in the valley attracts many resident and migratory animals, thus resulting in perfect game viewing. Along your full day game drive, you will have a stop where you can have your picnic lunch. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Central Serengeti ‘’North Serengeti to Central Serengeti
On this day, you will have a heavy breakfast and after head south towards the central Serengeti. The 4 hour drive to the centre will offer a mild en-route game drive.
The drive to the south from the Mara river valley takes you through hill country, the Lobo area, woodlands and back into the Seronera terrain.
As you make your way into the Seronera region, you will start to notice the hilly and broken terrain making different into plain grasslands. In Seronara –you will enjoy the interactions and survival of these lion prides thus providing an excellent game viewing experience throughout the year. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long drive. The bright day comes to an end with a delicious dinner and overnight stay. Get prepared for the next day – you will head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 6: Ngorongoro ‘’Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
You will start the day by 9 am and then, you will head out for a short game drive in the Serengeti after a excellent breakfast. After ending a half day game drive along with a picnic lunch, we will break out and head towards the Ngorongoro crater rim.
The 75 kilometer drive to Ngorongoro Crater edge takes about 2.5 hours, with mild game action to sightsee on the way. The crater stands as one of Africa’s impressive geological attractions and the supreme wonder of wilderness. The day ends with dinner and a good rest in your choice of accommodation.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – 5 hours ‘’Ngorongoro to Arusha/Moshi’’
On the last day of your safari, you will enjoy an early breakfast. Then, you will make an early descent at around 6:30 am into the crater floor. You will have 5 hour game drive on the crater floor, a perfect site for animal viewing such as African elephants, buffalo, Black rhinos, hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and lions can be observed in plenty. Have your picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will start a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. When you are done, you will be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha in the evening at around 6 pm.
