Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 1 of the 7 Days Uganda Double Gorilla Trekking Safari, you will be picked up by our company representative from your hotel, brief you about the safari. You will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwestern Uganda region, estimating an 8 to 9-hour drive from Kampala. The journey involves a stopover at the equator for a photography experience and a water experiment. Thereafter, continue to drive for another stop in Mbarara for en-route. You will then drive straight to the park. Upon arrival, check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
On day 2 of the 7 Days Uganda Double Gorilla Trekking Safari, Wake up early in the morning have breakfast, carry your packed lunch boxes, and drink mineral water. Be transferred to the gorilla trekking headquarters by your driver for the briefing. After briefing, meet up with the park ranger guide to lead you into forest trailheads in search of these beautiful creatures. The trekking takes about 30 to 7 hours, depending on the movements in their natural habitats. On finding them, trackers are allowed an hour to spend time with gorillas, observing them as they interact with each other, behave, play, feed as well as enjoy photo shoots. After trekking, hike back to the starting point to be rewarded with a certification in successful gorilla trekking. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Leisure at the Hotel/Lodge
Leisure at the Hotel: On this day, you will stay at leisure at your lodge as you enjoy the unwind and fresh breathtaking adventure. Have lunchtime, after lunch –you can move around the lodge where you expect to have a beautiful view of nature and notable birds. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
On day 4 of the 7 Days Uganda Double Gorilla Trekking Safari, after enjoying your delicious breakfast at the lodge, followed by check out and transfer to Mgahinga National Park. Arrive on time at the park, check into the lodge relax, and later have lunch.
After lunch, have warm relaxation around the lodge or opt to go visit the Batwa pygmies. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Gorilla Trekking: Wake up early and get prepared for another incredible gorilla trekking experience in another Uganda gorilla trekking location ‘’Mgahinga National Park’’. Enjoy breakfast and carry your packed lunch boxes, go meet up with your driver to transfer you to the park headquarters for gorilla briefing. After briefing, you will meet up with a park ranger guide to group you into your assigned gorilla group depending on which region-sector you are sleeping. The activity can take about 7 hours depending on their location in the forest.
While trekking, expect to see other primate species such as honest monkeys, chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, different plant species, and birds among others. Once you find them, you will be given one hour to watch them how they survive in the forest, groom young ones, play, feed, and build their nest on the ground in the evening many others.
After return back to the park headquarters to be rewarded a gorilla certificate for your successful activity and then your driver, will drive you back to the lodge for refreshments, dinner, and overnight.

Day 6: Leisure at the Hotel/Lodge
Leisure at the hotel: Wake up on a leisurely morning, and enjoy a comfortable breakfast well served with tasty delicious. After, you will unwind and enjoy the fresh breathtaking nature around you. Stay at leisure at the lodge respective. Have a sumptuous lunch in a beautiful dining area as you get rewarded with a spectacular view of the nature around. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Depart back to Entebbe
Depart back to Kampala: After morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and say farewell to the park, embark back to Kampala with en-route lunch and a stopover at the culture center to visit traditional drums and other unique craft materials. Then after, continue a drive to Kampala to be dropped to your hotel or at the Entebbe International Airport to catch up with your flight.
