Detailed Itinerary for 7 Days Uganda Murchison Falls and Kibale Safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Depending on your location in Kampala on the first day of your 7 Days Uganda Murchison Falls and Kibale Safari, you will be welcomed by our expert driver guide who will brief you about the 7 Days Uganda safari and then start the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes about 5 to 6 hours’ drive and on the way you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino trekking where you will drive to Masindi town for a panic lunch. After lunch, you will continue the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you will connect to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 7 Days Uganda Murchison Falls and Kibale Safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to head for a morning game drive where you will be able to view kings of the jungle, leopards before they go back to their hiding. During the game drive you will be able to view animals such as bushbucks, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, oribi, warthogs grazing in savannah plains with due, view predators such as lions, leopards, hyenas while looking for a morning hunt, view different bird species and others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will meet up with your driver guide to embark for an impressive boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. During the boat cruise, you will be able to enjoy beautiful views of the waterfall, take beautiful photographs, view aquatic animals like hippos and Nile crocodiles, other animals to see elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes which will be drinking water along the shores, aquatic birds among others. After the boat cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight as above.

Day 3: Nile Delta boat cruise
On the third day of the 7 Days Uganda Murchison Falls and Kibale Safari, you will have an early breakfast, and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to embark on a remarkable Nile delta boat cruise which begins from Paraa jetty landing site and stretches to the shores of Lake Albert. During the Nile Delta boat cruise you will expect to enjoy gainful views of Murchison Falls, a school of hippos and crocodiles in the water, other animals such as Uganda kobs, elephants, buffaloes, and waterbucks among others along the shores, water birds, view fishermen who will be catching fish on Lake Albert in dugout canoes many more.
After the Nile Delta boat cruise, you will meet up with your driver guide and drive back to the lodge for lunch where you will spend the rest of the day at leisure. Have dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Morning game drive and top of the falls drive
After breakfast on the fourth day of the safari, you will embark for another morning game drive where you will be able to spot some of the animals that you missed during the previous game drive. After the game drive, you will drive to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will relax at the lodge and later drive to the top of the falls where you will enjoy beautiful views of the waterfall, enjoy the water splashes, listen to the thundering of the waterfalls, eand njoy the scenic scenery among others. After the top of the falls drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast on the fifth day of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive to Kibale National Park. During your transfer to Kibale National Park, you will have an en-route lunch and enjoy spectacular views of the local people, farmlands, traditional homesteads, Rwenzori Mountains, and tea plantations with stopovers to take photos and stretch your legs. Upon arrival in Kibale National Park, you will check into your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge -midrange or Chimpundu lodge-luxury

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
After an early breakfast on the sixth day of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Kanyachu Visitors Centre for a chimpanzee trekking briefing about the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on their movements while looking for food or survival. On finding the chimpanzees, you will spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you a stunning opportunity to learn more about their lifestyle, and behaviors, watch them feed, enjoy the juveniles playing up in the trees, take photos, and capture videos with a flashless camera. After the one-hour encounter with the chimpanzees, you will hike back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide to drive you back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to head for a guided nature walk in Bigodi Sanctuary. During the guided nature walk you will get a chance to spot some animals, primates such as red tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, l’hoest monkeys, olive baboons, view different various bird species, view colorful butterflies, relax your mind and enjoy the cool breeze, listen to sweet sounds of bird singing in the trees, take beautiful pictures many more. After the Bigodi walk you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 7: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the safari, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to depart back to Kampala. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and then proceed to Kampala. You will arrive early evening and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at any place of advice.
