This 8 Days Kenya Wildlife and Uganda gorilla safari takes you to one of the world’s most visited safari destination in two East African countries that is Kenya and Uganda. Kenya safaris takes you to visit Maasai Mara National Reserve that is well known for its great wildebeest migration events and boosts with diversity of wildlife species then take a visit to Uganda through flight connection to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home to half remaining mountain gorillas in the world which are famously known as our closest related cousins said to share 98% DNA genes. The trip starts in Kenya -the heart of Africa and ends in Uganda -well known as the Pearl of Africa.
Day 1: Arrival to Nairobi
Depending on your point of location , our professional safari guide will welcomed you to Kenya ,take you through the 8 days Kenya and Uganda Safaris and then after transfer to your hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay at La Maison Royale Hotel
Day 2: Transfer to Masaai Mara
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi or from the airport. Then you will set off for your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey is by road and will take you through the vast landscape, beautiful country side and nature of Kenya. Upon your arrival at your lodge you will be warmly welcome with a flesh glass of juice and have lunch . After a tasty lunch head for an evening game drive .Then after drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at AA Mara Lodge
Day 3: Full Day Game Drives
Day 3 & 4: Full Day Game drives
You will wake up have breakfast as you prepare for a full day of game
viewing in the famous Masai Mara National reserve. You will be served
packed lunch from the lodge and then head out in to the reserve
for a whole day of perfect game viewing where you expect to explore
– big herds of lions, leopards, elephants, the elusive cheetah,
Thomson’s gazelle, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, topis, spotted
hyenas, zebras, baboons and the graceful giraffes. The wildlife adventure will
end in the evening as you will be transferred back to the lodge for dinner.
Day 4: Hot Air Balloon Safari
Wake up have an early breakfast served at the lodge with delicious meals and go for hot air balloon safari which is much enjoyed during wildebeest migration crossing from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania via Mara River. Note the best wildebeest migration event that attractions millions of tourists worldwide tend to happen from July to October.
Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe
After an early morning breakfast, then transfer to the airstrip for your flight to
Entebbe Airstrip via Kisumu for immigration. This flight is in a smaller aircraft and helps us avoid the travel via Nairobi. On arrival in Entebbe depending on time, you can connect directly to Bwindi
Impenetrable Forest national park or overnight in Entebbe and transfer the next day stay at Best Western Hotel.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast, you will embark on your gorilla safari southwards to Bwindi impenetrable forest. The journey will offer you highway spectacular sights of rural and semi-urban Uganda with several fruit, vegetable markets along the roads, craft and drum makers and a stop at Uganda’s Equator monument where you will cross to the southern hemispheres. After the experience at the Equator, the drive will continue with a stopover in Mbarara for en route lunch before proceeding to Bwindi. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge rest and have dinner as you get already for the next day activity. Overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge.
Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early have breakfast at the lodge ,served with packed lunch morning your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to the briefing point at 7am before you start your gorilla trek at 8 am. On arrival at the briefing place, you will be welcomed and given seats until time of briefing as your driver guide registers you with the ranger on duty to be allocate at your assigned gorilla family. You will eventually meet your ranger guide and start your gorilla trek in the jungles of Bwindi. We advise you to hire a porter to carry your day pack because sometimes the gorillas could be located a distance far from the start of your trek, they can also help pull you along the steep slippery paths in the forest at stay Buhoma Haven Lodge

Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe
Wake up on lazy morning have breakfast and drive out of the park with a stopover at the Equator enjoy picture sessions in both the northern and southern hemispheres. After drive direct to Kampala to be dropped off at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport for flight departure. End of the tour.
