DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest national park
Drive to Kibale forest national park: Start your safari with a pick up either from a hotel in Kampala or direct from Entebbe international airport on day 1 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking safari tour and embark on a drive to Kibale forest national park situated in western Uganda. Kibale forest national park is one of the most visited primate park in Uganda that enables you to encounter with all the 13 primate species in their natural habitats in Kibale forest. Lunch will be enjoyed enroute and upon park arrival, proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and have an overnight sleep. Depending on the arrival time, you may have a visit to the crater lakes.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and bigodi nature walk
Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk: After breakfast on day 2 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking safari tour, meet your Uganda safari driver for a transfer to Kanyanchu visitor’s center where you will attend a briefing about chimpanzee trekking before embarking on a forest walk to search for these gentle primates in their natural habitats. After briefing, hire a porter and be led into the forest to search for the chimpanzee troop that has been habituated and available for trekking and any period of time. You will spend only one hour with chimpanzees closely interacting with them and later on exit the forest back to your lodge for lunch.
Later in the evening, return to the forest for a guide nature walk exploring more primates, mammals, botanical plant species and many more that thrill in this wetland. Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park for afternoon boat cruise

Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura gorge
Morning game drive and afternoon chimpanzee trekking: Arise for breakfast as early as possible on day 4 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking safari tour after which you will meet your Uganda safari driver for a transfer to Kasenyi plains where you will drive amidst several wildlife species. Day 5: Game drive in Ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Game drive and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park: Upon finishing breakfast on day 5 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking safari tour, check out of the lodge ready for a drive to Ishasha sector for a thrilling game drive to search for tree climbing lions after which you will have your picnic lunch and exit the park for a drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park where you are expected to arrive in time for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Uganda gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Uganda gorilla trekking: Have an early and heavy breakfast on 6 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking safari tour then meet your safari driver for a transfer to the trail head of the sector you intend to trek in. you will meet with rangers who will take you through a session of briefing about what gorillas are, the dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking, the possible encounter and many more. Day 7: Transfer to Kampala
