DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park
Murchison falls national park: On day 1 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari, you will be met by our company representative who will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala and set off on a drive to Murchison falls national park. The driving distance from Kampala to Murchison falls national park is about 305Km (6-7 hours’ drive) with an enroute lunch in Masindi town. Upon park arrival, proceed to the lodge for check in, dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison falls national park
Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise: After breakfast on the 2nd day of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari, your safari driver will take you for a fascinating morning game drive in the savanna part of the oldest and largest savanna park in Uganda the pearl of Africa. During game drive, look out for various mammals such as elephants, Lions, giraffes, Uganda kob, waterbucks and many more.
After game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River to spot the major tourist attraction in the park which is none other than Murchison waterfalls. During the boat cruise, you will spot hippo, crocodiles, and other mammals that visit the river to quench their thirst. You have an option of top of the falls hike.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest National Park
Transfer to Kibale forest national park: On day 3 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari, enjoy your breakfast in time then check out and meet your safari driver to be transferred from Murchison falls national park to Kibale national park with an enroute lunch since it’s a full day drive.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen: After breakfast on day 4 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari, head out for chimpanzee trekking in the wilderness of Kibale Forest National Park starting with briefing at Kanyanchu visitor’s center where briefing is conducted. After briefing, penetrate into the forest and search for the habituated chimpanzees in their natural habitats taking about 2-5 hours with only 1 hour of close viewing chimpanzees.
After trekking chimpanzees, exit the forest and be returned to your lodge for lunch after which you will check out and be driven to Queen Elizabeth national park for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Game drive/ Lion tracking experience and boat cruise
Game drive/ Lion tracking experience: After breakfast on day 5 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari, you may choose either to have an early morning game drive or head out for a lion tracking experience. Game drive is conducted in kasenyi plain one of the best sectors in Queen Elizabeth national park. There is an opportunity of spotting several animals including Lions, Buffaloes, Elephants, Hippos, Elands, Waterbucks, and many more. After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and embark on an afternoon Kazinga channel boat cruise on of the best vessels to enjoy an afternoon boat ride with an opportunity to watch more mammals along the shores of the Kazinga channel. Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and have a night rest.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park via Ishasha sector
Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park: After breakfast on day 6 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari, check out of your accommodation with packed lunch and meet your safari driver to embark on the drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park via Ishasha sector for a chance to spot tree climbing lions while on a brief game drive. You will enjoy your picnic lunch in Ishasha sector before exiting Queen Elizabeth national park for Bwindi where you are expected to arrive late in the evening for lodge check in, dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi: After breakfast on day 7 of 8 days Uganda gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari, pack enough snacks, drinking water and wear your best gorilla trekking gears ready for a full day adventure in the wilderness of Bwindi impenetrable national park. Trekking gorillas lasts between 2-8 hours with 1 hour of you viewing the Gorillas closely then exit the forest and return to your lodge for a meal and evening relaxation. You may enjoy an optional evening Batwa experience.

Day 8: Transfer to Kampala/ Entebbe for departures
Drive to Kampala/ Entebbe: After a very early morning breakfast on the very last day of the safari, check out of the lodge in Bwindi and embark on your long journey back to Kampala with an enroute lunch in Mbarara city and a stopover at the equator for photo taking and equator experiment. Upon arrival in Kampala/ Entebbe, you will proceed either for hotel drop off or airport drop-off in case you have a night flight.
