The 9 Days Tanzania and Kenya Wildlife Safari is a combined safari tour packages that takes you to two neighboring countries – Tanzania and Kenya. Different safari places to visit in Tanzania that is Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park and in Kenya visit Masai Mara for an exceptional game drive as well as engaging community tour ‘’visiting Masai people’’. The trip starts in Tanzania and ends in Kenya.
Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Airport pick up and Transfer to Tarangire national park – evening game drive
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Meet your safari driver for a briefing before you set off for your safari transfer to Tarangire National Park. The journey takes about 2-3 hours’ drive and upon arrival, connect for an evening game drive in search of animals such as the herds of Elephants as well as other wildlife species like zebras, hartebeest, elephants, waterbucks, gazelles, Oryx and others. Transfer to your reserved lodge, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive and Walking Safari
After breakfast, go enjoy an incredible game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. After your picnic lunch, embark on a guided nature walk and get closer to the natural surroundings in the park including animals like elephants, giraffes, zebras and others. After the nature walk you will be driven to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Drive – transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, with your packed lunch head out for half day game drive in the crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater, home to numerous wildlife species such as the big 5 including lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others. There are also different bird species, which can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater such as ostriches as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi.
After your game drive, transfer to Serengeti National Park where you will arrive in evening to enjoy a sun set game drive in this magnificent park. En-route stop for the landscape views, Olduvia Gorge.
Serengeti national park is known as one of the destinations in Tanzania where one is sure of getting closer to the big 5 game while on a game drive. The park also is a great location for breeding grounds for the wildebeests, which are always seen on an annual migration between Serengeti national park in Tanzania and Masai Mara national reserve in Kenya. This migration always follows the rain patterns, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day excursion in Serengeti National Park
Wakeup from the comfort of your bed as early as possible, have your breakfast and packed lunch box. Meet your driver for a full day in the wilderness of Serengeti national park, where you will start your adventure with an early game drive to catch up with the wildlife that is always active thus arising early enabling you to have a glance at these mammals as they return back to their hideouts.
During your game drive in an open Serengeti plain, you will see vast of wildlife species such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, Zebras, Impala, African wild dogs, Serval cats, elephants and among other species. If you visit the park for wildebeest migrations experience that is expected to happen every June, July, August and September. You will also drive around the kopjes like the Simba kopjes during your game drive in Serengeti national park and you will enjoy watching lions as they watch their prey in the savannah plains from the top of the rocks. You will also enjoy viewing the sunset as your guide drives you back to your lodge.

Day 5: Another day game drive in Serengeti national park
Wake up have an early breakfast, get parked lunch and go for a full day game drive we start from far North around the Mara river, in case you came on the opposite month when the migration will start from Serengeti after missing it from Mara Kenya side now October is the best month to enjoy. Spend the whole day looking for these animals such as Hippos, Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Lions, Hyenas, Cheetahs, Antelopes, Hartebeest, zebras mention but a few. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve via Isabenia border
You will have a very early breakfast and check-out from the lodge to embark on your journey to Masai Mara national reserve in Kenya with en-route game drive as you continue to Isebania border where you will be crossing to Kenya. Upon arrival at the border the customs office will do clearance after which, meet your Kenyan driver guide drive to Masai Mara where you will enter the park. Connect to Masai Mara Park via Olololo gate in Mara west. Then, take a drive to your lodge for check-in, relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Full day game drive in Maasai Mara
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and grab your packed lunch and meet your safari driver to head to the plains of Maasai Mara for a full day adventure in this beautiful savannah vegetation of Masai Mara as you watch many animals in large numbers like lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, zebras and many more. You will enjoy your picnic lunch and continue for a game drive till the sun goes down. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: Another day full day in Masai Mara
After breakfast, embark to the plains of the reserve for the final morning game drive sighting more animals, after the game drive, head back to your lodge, have dinner and overnight.
Optional activity; Hot air balloon – Wake up early and be picked up by the air balloon team for your hot air balloon safari which begins in the early morning, just in time for sunrise. For about one hour you will be floating peacefully above the ground, with a bird’s eye view of the African bush below. The capacity for this experience is limited making this a very special and exclusive experience. Breakfast will be provided and thereafter connect back to the lodge.

Day 9: Community tour – Transfer to Nairobi (5-6 hours’ drive) – Departure
After breakfast, check-out of the lodge, connect for a Masai community tour to the Maasai village/Masai Loita Hills for a cultural experience. On this experience you will enjoy getting a deeper insight into the Masai culture by interacting with the local Maasai people, be entertained by local dancers, drama and Maasai warriors; buy local Masai items such as local Masai Shukas, beautifully made accessories like necklaces and earrings and taste local cuisines. After the experience, drive to Nairobi with en-route lunch and at Narok market a popular Masai village where you have an option of buying some Masai souvenirs as you drive to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at Jomo Kenyatta airport for your departure flight thus marking the end of the safari.
