Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
Drive from Kampala/ Entebbe to Murchison falls national park: Start day 1 of 9 days Uganda Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari with a pick up either from a hotel in Kampala/Entebbe or direct from the airport and set off on a drive to Murchison falls national park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will trek endangered white rhinos in their natural habitats where they are being protected in a sanctuary. After trekking rhinos, proceed to Masindi for a lunch break before proceeding to the park where you will be welcomed by a stunning view of fauna and flora species that thrill in the largest savanna park of Uganda. Head to your lodge for check in, dinner and have an overnight sleep at your reserved lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Game drive and boat cruise: Enjoy your early morning breakfast on day 2 of 9 Days Uganda Safari then meet your safari driver for an early morning game drive in search of animals that reside in this savanna park including Lions, elephants, Buffaloes, Uganda Kob, giraffes, lions, hartebeests and several bird life among others. After game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch then be ready for an afternoon boat cruise along Nile River where you will watch more mammals as well as have a view of the powerful waterfall at a distance. This is the time hikers set off from the boat for a 45 minutes top of falls hike (Optional) which is always enjoyed by the physically and mentally fit hikers.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Drive to Kibale forest national park: On day 3 of 9 days Uganda Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari, breakfast will be served as usual then check out of the lodge ready for a drive from Murchison falls national park to Kibale forest national park. Being a full day drive, lunch will be enjoyed enroute and upon park arrival, check in for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Chimpanzee trekking and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park: Enjoy a heavy breakfast on day 4 of 9 Days Uganda Safari then pack a lunch box, snacks and other items necessary during Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest national park. Meet your safari driver for a transfer to the park headquarters in Kanyanchu where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking, the dos and don’ts and many more. After briefing, penetrate into the forest and start the search for the habituated chimpanzees as they roam the forest in their natural habitat. Upon finding them, spend 1 hour with them taking photographs and finally exit the forest back to your lodge for a relaxed afternoon.
Later in the evening, check out and meet your Uganda safari driver for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spend an overnight.

Day 5: Lion tracking experience, game drive and afternoon Boat cruise
Lion tracking experience, game drive and boat cruise: After breakfast on day 5 of 9 days Uganda Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari, you will head out for a lion tracking experiment which is one of the ways to get closer to Lions in Queen Elizabeth national park. With Lion tracking experiment, one is sure of spotting lions since in most cases travelers miss out on lions during game drive thus Lion tracking experience is the best assurance for travelers who wish to encounter with the king of the jungle. After lion tracking experience, proceed on a game drive with in Kasenyi plains to spot more animals including Uganda Kob, Elephants, waterbucks, Buffaloes and many more. Return for lunch at the lodge and later in the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel to watch Hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife species.

Day 6: Game drive in Ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Game drive and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park: On day 6 of 9 Days Uganda Safari, you will check out of the lodge with a packed lunch box and be driven direct to Ishasha sector for a game drive to spot tree climbing lions and other mammals that thrill in this part of the park. After game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch and exit Queen Elizabeth national park for Bwindi impenetrable national park where you are expected to arrive late in the evening for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Uganda Gorilla trekking in Bwindi: Being a full day activity, you are expected to arise as early as possible for morning breakfast on day 7 of 9 days Uganda Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari then pack enough drinking water, snacks, and many more. Meet your safari guide/ driver to be transferred to the trail head for the sector you intend to trek in. you will attend briefing with other trekkers and finally hire a porter as you penetrate into the forest to start the adventure of searching for these gentle giants that have been habituated for trekking. Upon finding gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with them and finally exit the forest back to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for canoe ride
Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi: Enjoy your breakfast in the morning on day 8 of 9 days Uganda Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking & wildlife safari then check out and be ready for a drive to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. Upon arrival, check in your lodge for lunch then spend your afternoon on a canoe ride exploring different islands.

Day 9: Return to Kampala/ Entebbe for departures
Drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe: After breakfast on day 9 of 9 Days Uganda Safari depart Lake Bunyonyi and set off on a drive back to Kampala with an enroute lunch in Mbarara and a stopover at the equator to enjoy a photo-taking standing amidst North and South poles of the Equator. Once in Kampala, you will either be dropped off at a hotel or direct at the airport.
