Amakoro Songa Lodge got its name from the black volcanic rocks that is characterized of mountainous areas of Rwanda which is a home to the Mountain Gorillas. The lodge was built on seven acres plot with stunning manicured lawns, surrounded by the Muhabura, Gahinga and Sabinyo where even you can do hiking adventure along mountain volcanoes.

There cottages are spaciously furnished with rustic elegance, fussing local and modern pieces that creates a good warmth and comfort. With quality rooms each equipped with a fireplace that allows guests to enjoy a post trekking massage. Just know from Amakoro Songa lodge to the starting point of gorilla trekking takes few kilometers to access to the park headquarters where the adventure begins thus making it very easier for the guest to reach there in time. Then after unforgettable experience meeting human’s closest relatives said to have 98% of DNA, you will have foot massage at the lodge.
