How to Get to Gorilla Lodge;

Rushaga’s sector harbors a wide range of habituated gorilla families including; Nshongi, Kahungye, Bweza, Busingye, Bikyingi, Mishaya, Mucunguzi, and Rwigi.
By Road
From Kampala or Entebbe, you will drive via Masaka with a stopover at Kayabwe for a Quarter experience, then proceed to drive Mbarara to Kabale. From there proceed on the Kisoro highway up to Mika town where you will make a right turn off after the Muko police outpost.
The turnoff has got many signposts of different lodges as well as Four gorillas lodge’s signpost is located around.
On the last drive after the turn-off, you will drive straight and roughly takes an hour to the last bridge.
Then from the bridge continue to drive over 300 meters to a signpost, which roughly takes one 1kilometers to access the lodge. However, the whole road trip takes approximately 8 to 9 hours with minimum stopovers.
By Air
There are daily scheduled early morning flights to and from Kisoro or Kihihi airstrip from Entebbe International Airport. You may use chartered flights to Kisoro airstrip that offer flexibility in time. You may request to use it to and from Entebbe International Airport. From Kisoro airstrip to 4 gorilla’s lodges offers to pick up services to the lodge at a cost.
Travel from Kigali Rwanda;
You can fly to Kigali International Airport and then connect by road to Rushaga sector through the Cyanika border in Kisoro which takes about 4 to 5 hours to Four Gorilla Lodge.
