Gorilla Heights Lodge is a unique luxurious safari accommodation that suits with comfortable amenities wanted by the visitors. The lodge is composed of two types of cottages that are Family cottages and Standard cottages and all are décor with the same amazing room amenities but different bed sizes and prices per night.
Gorilla Heights lodge is situated in the Nkuringo region of the famous four habituated gorilla regions that is; Ruhija, Rushaga, Buhoma, and Nkuringo main gorilla tracking regions in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and located in Kisoro district in southwestern Uganda respectively. However , the lodge provides easy access with perfect transportation services from Kisoro airstrip, flying guests to Rwanda boarders, Kigali Airport, and Entebbe International Airport depending on the visitor’s wants. The distance from Kampala to Kisoro is just 483.6 kilometers and Entebbe to Kisoro is 472.1 kilometers.
The lodge consists of 1 family, 5Deluxe and 9 cottages thus making up a total of 15 spacious cottages each cottage is decorated with modern and African artifacts that are delicately blended to provide a fantastic abode in the wilderness. Gorilla Heights lodge has perfect beds which were draped in white linen and located in the center of the room. The rooms are adjacent to the large aluminum doors that reward the break of dawn in Bwindi. The sunrise over the horizon is an invitation to enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the wide sheltered balconies that give a panoramic view of the Bwindi’s canopy. Each cottage offers the Virunga range view right from the dining facility. The rooms are warmed up with heat from the gas burners and electric heaters thus offering to guests the great opportunity to cozy up in the interior lounges with a cup of African coffee or tea.
The bathroom is ensuite with indoor showers and free-standing bathtubs for a rejuvenating body soak after a long day of safari activity. The bathtubs for the Deluxe cottages are designed on private balconies, offering visitors opportunities to enjoy bathtub-in-the-sky moments.
All living spaces at the lodge were furnished with sofas, heaters, mini-refrigerators, and a 50-inch flat-screen television.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park famously known as home to half of the total population of the mountain gorilla still exists in the wild. It is home to over 22 habituated gorilla families that are divided into four gorilla sectors; Nkuringo, Rushaga, Buhoma, and Ruhija sectors where gorilla trekking and habituation experience takes place in Bwindi. However, Gorilla Heights lodge is found in the Nkuringo sector a beautiful sector with a rewardable view of the forest canopy and Virunga mountains compared to other regions. Gorilla permits in Bwindi cost USD700 per person per day.
