Game Viewing
While at Kibale Guest Cottage you can go for game viewing at the park’s open plains and expect to view African buffaloes, Common warthogs, Giant forest hogs, Sitatunga, bushbucks, Leopards, African golden cats, Mongooses, otters many more.
Chimpanzee tracking
This is the top tourist activity done in Kibale National Park that takes you through thick forest trails of Kibale forest with the help of park ranger in search for Chimpanzees. This activity starts early in the morning with a briefing about rules of chimpanzee tracking, the activity can take 4 to 5 hours depending on where were last seen the previous day. Remember to put on comforting hiking shoes because the activity is all about hiking in wet or slippery trails since Kibale forest is a rainy forest its unpredictable it might rain all time. While tracking you will be able to see other primate species, bird’s species such as, central African monkey, black and white colobus, blue monkey, L’Hoest, grey cheeked mangabey, Uganda Red Colobus Monkey among other. Once you find them one hour is given to you to observe chimpanzees how they play, feed a well as taking photography.
Birding and Buffer Fly Watching Experience
