Murchison Giraffe Camp : Murchison Giraffe Camp is a perfect eco safari camp that offers a unique wilderness experience along the Nile. More so, the camp was set up in the most popular safari destination namely as Murchison Falls National Park and mainly built to serve budget tourists who have several days in the park.
En-suite Banda; The camp is furnished with comfortable ensuite bandas where guests can immerse themselves in the wilderness in the comfort of a safe and are designed with overlooking verandah. This Banda is well designed and furnished with a double bed, mosquito net, towels, solar lights, private bathroom, reading table and outdoor seating.
Safari Tent; During your visit at the lodge, you can enjoy the serenity and tranquility of the forest as you stay in these non en-suite safari tents. These unique tents are furnished with twin beds mosquito nets, towels, linen and solar lights.
Campsite; They have enough space and very safe for your comfortable stay. This campsite can accommodate up to 100 campers. We recommend you carry your camping gear during your time of safari or you can hire at the lodge.

Game drive
Game drive is one of the best safari experience while on stay at Murchison Giraffe Camp. Game drive in Murchison falls allows visitors to explore spectacular open savannah grasslands in a customized safari vehicle. During game drive in the park, you will be able to sight see a bucket list of animals ‘’big fours’’ and other animals like Jackson hartebeests, Oribs, Waterbucks, Warthogs, Hyenas, Uganda kobs, Giraffe among others.
Boat cruise
While on safari in Murchison Falls National park, you can engage in boat cruise which takes place on the mighty Nile where you can be able to visit picturesque bottom of the thunderous Murchison Falls. Species to encounter while on the Nile include hippos, crocodiles and water bird species like Malachite Kingfishers, African fish eagle, Gray crowned crane, Giant Heron, Giant Kingfisher, Shoebill stork, Abyssinian ground species among others.

Birding
Well, Murchison Falls National Park is one of the best birding site on Uganda Birding Safaris, boosting over 450 recorded bird species include; migratory, Albertine rift, endemic birds, savannah birds as well as water birds. Birds to see includes Long-toed lapwing, Denham’s bustard, Abyssinian ground hornbill, shoebill, Red-throated bee-eater, African jacana, Africa quail finch, Black-billed barbet, Black –headed gonolek, Black-headed lapwing, Eastern grey plantain –eater, Giant kingfisher, Malachite kingfisher, Piapiac, Silver bird, Speckle –fronted weaver, Squaco heron, Swamp flycatcher, White-browed sparrow-weaver among other. The migratory birds are best spotted between November to April. Other months best for birding on Uganda Birding Tour starts from December to February and April to May and August to October.
Location; Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and oldest game park and great location experience the world’s most powerful waterfall and diversity of wildlife as well as bird species. From Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park takes 4 to 5 hours’ drive. Alternative, the park can be accessed by a domestic flight ‘’Aero link Uganda’’ from Entebbe International Airport flies you to Pakuba Airstrip in the park lands ‘’45minutes’’.
