Bwindi impenetrable national park is one of the top visited destinations in Uganda located in southwestern region on the edge of the Albertine rift valley. Bwindi impenetrable national park is famously known for harboring the endangered mountain gorillas which are found in four sectors namely Ruhija sector in the east, Nkuringo sector in the south, Buhoma sector in the north and Rushaga sector in the south.

Park entrance fees to Bwindi impenetrable national park are set by Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), a government body in charge of tourism in Uganda and all visitors will be required to present valid identification documents to confirm resident status and Covid-19 vaccination card.
Park entrance fees to Bwindi impenetrable national park are independent to package activities like gorilla trekking, bird watching among others. A day’s entrance ticket is valid for twenty four hours from the time of entrance and extra time spent in the park after 24 hours will be charged as an extra day. Children are persons aged between 5 to 15 years and persons below 5 years are exempt.

Annual park entrance passes
Annual park entrance pass applies to all protected areas for foreign residents in Uganda and East African citizens only, vehicle entrance will be paid separately. Foreign residents require a work permit valid for one year to qualify for an annual pass.

Foreign residents are charged 350 USD per individual and 350,000 UGX for East African citizens
Couple
Foreign resident couple is charged 600 USD and 500,000 UGX for East African citizens
Family with a maximum of 4 children

Vehicle entry fees are charged per 24 hours except for concessionaire visitor vehicles who will pay once per trip in the park.
