Primate Lodge; This lodge is found in the heart of Kibale National Park, Uganda’s capital of primates with over 13 species of primates and other various mammals, butterflies and bird species. Furthermore, is located deep in the forest and right next door to the starting point of chimpanzee tracking excursion as well as chimpanzee habituation. Both activities are breathtaking life experience.

This lodge offers nine ‘’9’’ spacious and en-suite luxury cottages each secluded deep in the forest for maximum privacy and a natural living structure. It also has a sitting area with two comfortable arm chairs, with a reading table and adjoining large veranda overlooking views to the forest.

The lodge has seven mid-level forest cottages private and en-suite with spacious bathrooms and spacious veranda overlooking the rain forest with lounge chairs.
Primate lodge offers a popular double storied ‘’Elephant Banda’’ with an upstairs bedroom fitted with a giant king size bed and a downstairs living room where we can also place a smaller extra bed. As a double occupancy area, excellent for the honeymooners, anniversaries and the hopeless romantic, where you enjoy private lounging and dining at the extensive upstairs veranda that gives a stunning view to visitors.
The fact is that Kibale National Park is located in western region of Uganda covering an area of about 766 square kilometers to protect a large number of primates and other wildlife species. More so, the park was gazette in 1932 and later established in 1993 to protect a large area of forest. Kibale Forest is a home to over 13 species of primates such as chimpanzee, Ugandan red colobus, mangabey, L’hoest’s monkey, black and white colobus, blue monkey among other primates, wildlife species to see include duikers, bushbucks, sitatunga, bush pigs, giant forest hogs, common warthogs, Africa buffalo, bush pigs, African golden cats, servals, mongoose’s otter among others. Also paradise of bird such as Crowned eagle, Grey parrot, little greenbul, brown-chested alethe, Brown illadosis, Blue-headed bee-eater, Black-capped apalis, Black-eared ground thrush, Afep pigeon, African pitta, Cassin’s spine tail, Dusky crimson wing, Grey parrot, Blue-breasted kingfisher among others. Kibale national park can be accessed from Kampala to the main destination within the 5 to 6 hours’ drive.

This is winding path you will find the main lodge positioned in the lush greenery. At around camp fire visitors do gather to chill up their evening from.
