Boat cruise
This is the second done activity by tourists who usually visit the lodge for comfortable stay. The activity is quite impressive experience as you can be enjoying the cruise at the same time having a great sight-seeing of water species such as savannah elephants, Cape buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles as well as various bird species. Boat cruise in Queen is carried out on the Kazinga Boat Cruise and it can be done in shifts –morning starts ‘’11am’’, afternoon ‘’1pm’’ and evening boat cruise adventure ‘’3pm’’. Boat cruise bookings are done at Mweya offices by help of a tour agent or safari drive guide.
Game drives
The game drives in Queen Elizabeth national park is best done in Kasenyi plains and Ishasha sector a home to a unique tree climbing lions. It is best done in dry season when grass is short thus making game viewing clearer and rewarding. The best months to do game drive starts between the months of June to September and January to February.
